Indeed, look who's running the country. And there is "The Darkness spreading out before him" Cheney providing the eerie music.

you should go to an athiests to ask that question. Unless someone that has already answered you IS athiests or were at one time. An athiest in Psalms is called a fool (psalms 14:1). ...Only a fool would be dumb enough to say there are no ghost when the word ghost is even referred to GOD HIMSELF (HOLY GHOST)...LETS US KNOW THAT THERE MUST BE SOME unholy ghost also. The word ghost is the same as spirit. It means breath, wind-like, or an apparition of such.

Atheists tend to also be skeptics, so, while most don't, one can't assume that because a person is an atheist they either do or don't believe in ghosts.

Not as a matter of atheism. I think the jury is still out on that one. Parapsychology isn't much of a science, but it's TRYING if nothing else, to find appropriate methodology and repeatability. I don't see how it can do so but I'm willing to say:

I don't know. Wait. Give them time.

Personally, as soon as I see sufficient evidence that ghosts exist I will of course accept that evidence until it is falsified. That's the difference between the light of reason and the mental defect of faith.

No, I've been in some of the most "haunted" places in Texas and have yet to see a ghost.

I don't fear ghosts either.
