No. Religion, of any sort, has no business in schools.

If one religious holiday is observed, then they should all be observed. Alternative holidays can be granted to non-Christians. That was fairly common in my area, where Jews took off certain days and Christians took off others. And because there are so many winter holidays, the Christmas break was considered to also cover Hanukkah, Yule and Kwanzaa. As for Christian holidays, we get an Easter break and Good Friday. Do I agree with these holidays? Generally speaking, yes. It keeps students from being held out of school by their parents. For instance, my parents never would've allowed me to attend school on Good Friday. It just wouldn't have happened.

Christmas, Easter, Good Friday, Ring any bells? Every Christian holiday is given days off from school. Muslims Don't get any special treatment. We have to fast during Ramadan and still have to work and got to school.

Wow.
Firstly, EVERYONE, not just Christians, gets off the "winter break" or "christmas holidays" so you'd be hard pressed to truly call them "Christian" holidays. Also, Thanksgiving (other than the concept) has nothing to do with Christ (other than thanking Him), and is therefore not a "Christian" holiday.
Secondly, Christians, generally, recognize ONE day (during the above mentioned holidays) with significant reverence, the birth of our Savior, and as a matter of convenience / habit, on December 25th.
Thirdly, Christians, generally, recognize ONE day with significant reverance around Easter - that would be the day that our Savior rose from the dead. Since this day is most commonly recognized on Sunday, it does not interfere with school.
Next, other Christian denominations may recognize other days corporately with significant reverance (such as Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, Passover, etc.). If their religion/denomination calls for a day of fasting, praying, celebrating, etc. (and "not working"), then, per our US Constitution, individuals should be allowed to "not work (i.e. school)" as their religion provides. The same holds true for non-Christian religions. There are usually days of significant reverance for other religions, and individuals practicing those religions should be able to do so, according to the Constitution.
All that being said, too many people, including those participating, view these days as you have construed them - as "days off." And what do we do with those "days off?" We go shopping, play games, go to the movies, work around the house, work a second job, etc., etc. The original intent of the Constitution was to be able to take those days off to worship, pray, fast, or celebrate the bases of our religion.
So yes, Christians, and Muslims, or others should get days off to "worship" if promulgated by your religion/denomination. And we should remember the real reason for the day off.

because in the present day at this element in historic previous there are countless governments bending over backwards to furnish their personal Muslim communities however they prefer in the desire that by technique of doing so will exempt their topics/voters from any type of terrorist acts. Its called appeasement and as I recollect it did not paintings for Neville Chamberlain both. ultimately all of those governments will awaken and scent the espresso. yet...properly...i'm no longer holding my breath. I ensure by technique of then it's going to be too previous due. shop slamming adversarial to those walls. the international is definitely no longer a honest position or perhaps right here in the states we are falling into that trend. we are now giving, (in some states besides), time positioned aside in public colleges for Muslims to desire. I somewhat do not have any subject with this notwithstanding it almost certainly violates the first modification of the structure. Christians and Jews are literally not afforded a similar rights. i wager our authorities is making waiting us for the destiny and non secular police that Afghanistan once had. solid success to you

Not only Muslims, other non-Christians also get offdays for their religious festivals. And I hope you learnt a lot from above answers so I won't repeat about what Christians get.
Even in some Asian Muslim countries, Christmas is a national offday. Is Eid a national offday in any Western country? Tell me if you ever find one.

I can't believe you got to a point were you actually post questions about Islamic Holidays...Don't you have anything else to do?
We Muslims only have two holidays, the Small Feast (Eed) and the Great Feast (Eed). Any other holiday we take is not part of our religion
