What do you find more troubling: an overweight parent w/ a thin child OR a thin parent w/ an overweight child?

Yesterday, I saw an average weight mom with two obviously overweight daughters - our society would hold the mom responsbile for their weight BUT would we hold the parent responsible if s/he was overweight and the kids were thin (not overweight).

Frankly, I'm not too concerned either way. I've got better things to do with my time than worry about other people's weight. It's their business, not mine.

I'm more concerned about the overweight parent with the overweight child, myself.
