If you believe in God strongly enough could he save you from falling and/or death if you were to leap from a 50 story building? And do you think anyone is up to the task of showing us their faith in God and prove to us non-believers that by faith alone they can leap off the building's top floor and God will protect them?

Charging interest (Usury):

Judaism: In traditional Jewish law it is forbidden to charge interest upon loans made to other Jews. However, Jews are not forbidden to charge interest on transactions with non-Jews, or Gentiles. Given this double standard, Gentile debtors may have been quick to lay charges of usury against Jewish money-lenders charging even nominal interest or fees. Thus, historically attacks on usury have often been linked to anti-semitic rhetoric, as, for example, in The Merchant of Venice. (okay to charge to others)

Christianity: In 1745, the Catholic teaching on usury was expressed by Pope Benedict XIV in his VIX Pervenit, which strictly forbids the practice as such, although he adds that "entirely just and legitimate reasons arise to demand something over and above the amount due on the contract" .(lamens term Usury is okay as long as you have a contract)

Islam: Usury, indeed, interest of any kind, is forbidden in Islam. (Muslims do not charge or take interest)

I believe all children have the right to be taught about all the major religions of the world in an unbiased and unprejudiced manner and then the decision left to them to choose their own path, rather than teach a single ideology and close their minds to other beliefs and values.Agree or disagree.

I mean, do they think they now have a claim to Ha'Aretz that overrides our God given right? And if so, why do you think that way? What gives you that right? Ill ask you in advance not to spout dogmatic NT vagueness, please, or something like " Jesus was crucified at Golgotha Hill." OR "He was the son of God." Unacceptable, and not a valid claim. I would like to see people speak with their own words, and not 2000 year old ones. Thank you.

Alright first I want to tell you im not gay, and im not too thrilled about gay marriage. And I belive in God. But as far as hating gay people go, im not thrilled about that either. But as far as being gay goes I don't like that. I don't have a problem with the person. But the gay part is what I have a problem with. Lets stop acting like everyone don't see what's so disgusting about it. Because it is seen. So what do you think of this solution? The Government should not have any say in marriage what-so-ever. All Christian gay people should take thair marriage up with the church. But all atheist or other religion should get married in federal places not religous places. Don't drag a religion into something that's against thair moral's. You say if you love eachother then you deserve eachother. Well It's a know fact that Humans love the all wrong things. Some people love killing other people, but that don't make it right. Im not attacking you. I just want to see what do you think.

If you have your beliefs, and someone answers you that has a different belief (or no belief at all), is so defensive? Have I insulted you? If so, could you point it out for me? I would really appreciate it, sincerly.
I have attempted to ask a few questions in R&S, and each attempt leaves me feeling as though I have personally offended someone.

So please explain to me why are you so defensive?

In Islam, the name Israel actually came from a story where Jacob fought or wrestle with Archangel Izrail(the angel of death) and amazingly with God's will,Jacob won the fight.By God's order, Izrail suggested Jacob to use it's name as a sign of Jacob's prophecy where now his people were known as the Israelites. Are there any of you among Jews and Christians know this story?share your thoughts with us....
