lol,...ofcourse....religion is a path to god....which path you follow doesnt matter....isnt that what hinduism says?
as many as there are people...so many are the paths to god...is it not what hinduism says?
Hinduism doesnt ask you how many books you read or how many rituals you performed....
It simply asks you.....did you see god? If not , then you are not a hindu or a christian or anything else....you have no religion.....
The oldest hindu scripture...the Rig Veda says...
"God is one, the sages call him by many names"....
Follow anypath you like, without disturbing others.....hinduism says...
wow , what a wonderful religion I follow....
you seem to think, workshipping god and religion are 2 different things?
religion is the relationship between you and god....between you and yourself....
religion is getting nearer to god.....if you are not getting nearer to god.....then your religion is nothing...
Is it ok to workship god my own way??? Ofcourse....thats what you should be doing.....
You dont have to label ur self as a hindu or muslim or christian or anything,.....if you have love for god.....that is all that matters....

This is obviously not going to be a popular answer, but NO. I understand u don't accept much about Christianity, but u havn't found what your looking for in other religions either. If u check out the bible, though, u will find out a lot about mankind's history and why we have so many problems in the present, including with religion. One important thing that God , the ONe that commisioned the bible to be written, wants is obedience. It's stressed thruout the entire bible from the failure of Adam and Eve to the faithfulness of Jesus Christ even to death. Obediance is expected for children to their parents (Ephesians 6; 1), people to their governments ( Titus 3; 1) , and to those who were taking the lead in the early church congregations ( Hebrews 13; 17) Jesus gave his followers simple commandments such as to love their enemies and each other, but mostly important to love the Father with all their soul, will, and strength. Read his Sermon on the Mount at Matthew chapters 5 - 7, the logic and simplicity of it defies mankinds' mysteries and confusing traditions. So the most important thing is to worship God in an acceptable way to him and this is done at John 17; 3 " This means everlasting life, thier taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."

Hers a great concept called GOD.
The orientals were sitting on a star looking back over SPACE, mostly it was darkness with some tiny lights in the distance. They had no SOUND?
White arian martians then crashed into the oriental star, because the martians had TECHNOLOGY that allowed them to get off their planet and out of their alien star system. WHen the 2 met they travelled the galaxy together (TO GET HER).
Together the two met other aliens and SYNERGIZED.
They created a humble vehicle called your body and placed all the greatest knowledge inside for you to write down, build and share with other individuals.
When our mass amount of "chromozones" was dimished to just 2, the great battle became between men and women. NOT MAN AND GOD!
We are a tiny part of the god conciousness
Good Luck

\Some people will tell you to do what you feel is right. Have you ever seen a partial birth abortion on film? You can see it online. I won't tell you where. The child is alive and well and can feel the pain of death as he or she is murdered. If that's what you think is good...
Religion is simply one's worldview. Athieists have a religion... It's called atheism. You also have a worldview. This is your religion (simply speaking-see a good dictionary).
Please e-mail me and tell me what you dislike about Christianity.
Jesus Christ said the true God must be worshipped in spirit and truth. What is truth? Can you define truth?
If you think truth is 'relative' to each individual's ideas or views and opinions you are sadly mistaken.
Does the moon revolve around the earth? Is the earth round? This is 'absolutely true'. No one can refute it. Noone from some 'other truth' can say it isn't so and be found in truth. Truth is not relative, but absolute. If you want a debate, e-mail me.
The Hebrew Old Testament says the earth is round in the book of Isaiah, chapter 40 verse 22.

In my humble opinion I feel you have the right to beleive and worship God as you see him. your parents have instilled in you the ground work for a beleif system that your heart and ntelligenge will help you figure out. Church is not a building my dear, it is your way of life, kindness to others and prayful intent that matters. when the time is right (if ever) you maybe find a way to worship that feels right to you. do not dispute your father's beleifs either, he has the right to beleive as he feels is right. just continue to keep a prayerful attitude and a kindness towards your fellow humans, treat all as you would want to be treated. I personally feel that this is what our "Power greater than I" is all about. God bless you my friend.

It is rather dangerous for a free thinker like you, but in the other hand you are not, since you admit that you believe in God. Believing in God is not enough, you have to devote yourself in it.
You must be mightier than the creator because you want to worship God in your own way. You are expecting the God to listen to you. What a joke.

By all means it is the worshiping of God that is important not the religion you use to do it.
Seek God in your own way and be at peace with yourself.
God hears all voices raised to him. God bless you.

yes, absolutely. there is a god in every soul. if you do good deeds some god or another will be pleased with you and take you to heaven. you have a good idea not sticking to one particular religion. just pick and choose the best from all the religions. I'm not a follower, but indulge in all the goodness of all religions. i think we should invent a new religion by choosing all good bits from all religions. contact if you wish. my e-mail

In my opinion....Yes!
There are people all over the world that have no access to a religious church/faith...and I doubt God has a preference. We all walk our own path, and we all search and find and look again and find an answer again....in our own time.
One God...many paths!
