I mean, do they think they now have a claim to Ha'Aretz that overrides our God given right? And if so, why do you think that way? What gives you that right? Ill ask you in advance not to spout dogmatic NT vagueness, please, or something like " Jesus was crucified at Golgotha Hill." OR "He was the son of God." Unacceptable, and not a valid claim. I would like to see people speak with their own words, and not 2000 year old ones. Thank you.

I might add to my Qarite brother, I know ALL christians do not think thusly. I only want to hear from the ones that DO think this way, and want to hear their resoning behind such a belief. I believe you may have misunderstood me, and that is OK. I hope I have clarified this, as I HAVE heard such things said in my lifetime. As for enlightenement, of course. I have a long way to go. I am certainly far from perfect. I try to do some mitzvahs along the way, and steer clear of the bad ones, but I do not believe you have given me a fair shake in this regard. Shma Yisrael, Adonai Eloheinu, Avonai echad. Amein

And Mr, your deductive reasoning is clever, but flawed. Christians do NOT become spiritual Jews through Christ. They become CHristians. To be a Jew is a very defenitive thing, and believing Jesus was the mosiach is not one of them.

Sorry, but I couldnt not tell, my sister, what gender what you are. As for everyone else, you are so far giving me some very good answers, and I will think upon them without bias. As I said, I am only looking for answers to help in my own quest for enlightenment. YOu may choose to hate me or call me ignorant if you wish, but I know in my heart that I am a good man who would give you the shirt off my back if you needed it, As I said, I only want to know why certain types thing that they will inherit Israel from us. Perhaps I should have used the owrd Inherit first. I hope you will forgive the semantical error.

NO DOn S. your Hebrew is WRONG. Elohim means LOrd, Eloheinu means OUr LOrd, and the Hebrew word Echad does NOT allow for a 'trinity'. It is completely singular and means ONE, and ONE alone. See? This is the sort of person I wanted a response from. One who would deign to call ME the antichrist. THis saddens my heart. While I am open to opinions, this person is NOT. And I was just going to say that I was truly enjoying this minyan that we are all participating it.

Jesus does NOT hold the 'deed' to Israel. Period. Nor do his followers. Period. Jews do. Period. You are the sort that I wanted to bring out into the open. Does everyone see now what I meant by my question? To get a response like that saying that Jesus has the deed to Ha'Aretz, and his followers do in kind? You are welcome to your beliefs, (misguided as they are) but I would still welcome you off the plane in Tel Aviv, and bring you to a nice kosher lunch on the coast. Xitianity has biased you too much. Jesus was a Jew, but thats where it ends .We are all sons and daughters of God. i wanted to thank everyone for participitating in the minyan tonight. Most answers made me feel good, and in that way, closer to God. I truly appreciated some of your answers, and I apologize for perhaps not being as clear as I should have. As with my other question, this might be tough to choose a best answer. Shalom Aleichem.Salaam Aleikum/Peace Be Among You/Namaste. And thank you again.

Which Christians are you talking about, seren? Many christians don't even know what ha'aretz is. And some christians just think they are israel not by nationality or flesh, but only because they claim themseves christian they think they are spiritually israel, without a sightest intention to have a certificate of land possession in the middle east.

OK. I won't spout off like you just did. Your very ignorant in God's Word. Israel belongs to the Jews.
read the Book. Don't keep it for a paper weight.
.
ANY Christian through Christ becomes what? A spiritual Jew through Christ.
God will create a New spiritual Kingdom in New spiritual Jerusalem of the Spiritual Jews through Christ.
Spiritual Jews will be the ONLY people that inherit the New Kingdom.
Now...You tell me who owns it.
.
Sounds to me like Jesus Christ Himself holds the Deed to your property.
.
[Edit}
Trying to educate yourself? That's great. You might learn how to ask a civil question first. You don't ask a question and tell people not to spout off dogmatic blah blah..my friend.
.I would try to help you anyway I can. I won't be criticized in advance by anyone. I'm like everyone else, I don't know it all. I will, compare notes with anyone on this forum or anywhere else. I'm far from ignorant in God's Word.

Your are deceived and want to be,The promise was given to Abraham and his Seed not seeds. His Seed was Christ and since Christians have excepted Christ then we be partakers of His Seed and heirs to God While you still remain an Antichrist and I shake the dust from my feet as a testimony against you.The Shema declares"Hear ,O Israel ; the Lord our God is one Lord.Dt 6:4 .In Hebrew it reads ," Jehovah our Elohim (gods)is one [ echad ] Jehovah. The Hebrew word Echad allows for a unity of more than one.For example when the various parts "became one tabernacle" Exodus 36:13.Elohim means gods.It is obvious that God is no longer protecting Israel you might ask Elohim why.

Well yeah, I think alot of Christians do hold the belief that Israel is the promised land and that God has given it to the Jewish people. If you are looking for reasons beyond bibilical ones, however, I think you will find none. Christians hold this belief entirely off of Biblical, especially Old Testament, ideas.

To "the street walkin' cheetah with the heart full of napalm",
I don't believe that Israel belongs to Christians now. I think that it belongs to those people that have taken it from the last occupiers of it.
But here the thing:
Christians look favorably at Israel. Many of us know what's going to happen in that wonderful land. We think that the prophets of the Old Testament prophecied that He whom they pierced will retun to claim it, and David's Throne will once again be in place.
If you are a son of David, and a son of Abraham, then we feel that we are kin. We look at them as brothers that do not understand our relationship, but typically are friendly to us. So we wait out this time of misunderstanding and desire for the time when we will truly be as one people, under the same God, and in a time of peace.
Ephraim and Judah as one.

Well, I'm a Christian and I've never thought that Israel belongs to Christians. I do support Israel and think that the Jewish people were promised that land by God. Check out what Christian leaders are saying about Israel -- most are very supportive -- you might be interested in this organization: http://www.cufi.org/ which has the support of many prominent Christian leaders.

You are very poorly educated about genuine Christians my Jewish brother...
I am a Jew, a Qaraite Jew, as a matter of fact and I know that all Christians are not as you describe.
You should be more enlightened than this. The darkness/ ignorance that covers your mind is gross.
EDIT:
I am a FEMALE...
EDIT:
I do not hate you, but as a Jew you should be more enlightened than this. You are very likely a very nice person, that I will not doubt. I will trust your wods...

GOD GAVE THE LAND TO THE ISRAELITES.
ONE TINY DOT OF LAND.
THE WORLD HAS CRIED FOWL OVER IT EVER SENSE.
ISRAEL IS GODS CHOSEN.
NO CHRISTIAN THINKS THAT THEY OWN ISRAEL.
ANY TRUE CHRISTIAN WILL STAND BEHIND THE ISRAELITES.
BUT WE DO BELIEVE THAT THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON WILL BE SOON. AND THEN THE NEW JERUSALEM.
WHY DO YOU THINK -THAT CHRISTIANS WANT TO TAKE YOUR LAND.
WE ARE TAUGHT BY GOD TO PRAY FOR YOU AND FOR YOUR PEACE.
PLEASE EXPLAIN.
I AM A CHRISTIAN,I LOVE JESUS,JESUS LOVES THE JEWISH PEOPLE.
