Most fundamentalists wackos WANT the end of the world to come. Are these really the kind of people we want in charge of military/political decisions?

They would think it's a good thing to hasten wars, and set the stage for future wars.

My wife's ex-bf won't leave us alone because she left him, then later when she met me she fell in love and hasn't looked back since. How should I go about explaining to him that no matter what he does she's not leaving me. He abused her mentally, and physically I believe. He says he's mainly upset because she left him for a girl. Would he actually feel better if she had left him for a man with a bigger dick?

I have read in numerous books (not all were greek mythology) where she was referred to as a goddess, a nymph, and other things. I have also read how her father was a god (not Zeus) and then how it was Zeus.

Anybody have any real answers? Or at least some good ideas? I think she is amazing, and named my kitten after her.

When I look into the religion and spirituality section of the questions here, I find an awful lot of Christianity Bashing. Most of what I have read is uninformed and angry. I know why I think people target Christians, but would like honest answers as to others' thoughts.

Is it a physical thing? A mental thing? Both? I know that the 'perceived' image of the ideal WOMAN is the big breasted blonde, but that bores me to death. I personally don't like that image. It's an artificial media thing that has been perpetuated BY the media. Give me the 'imperfections' anytime. As a male, I love diversity; it's what makes the world go round. I'm being honest here. I love the attractiveness of a woman's femininity: something that can't be defined or quantified. Bearing that in mind, what is the thing that women find in men that is attractive. Give me the details. Be honest. Phew!

I've owned several fords in my lifetime and they used to be a good vehicle and a good company. Now they choose to target gay families or people with "modern day values", fund homosexual agenda, sponsor homosexual events, marches, and parades, and push homosexual marriage. In other words, Ford is willing to sacrifice its employess and its once loyal patrons for a mute minority of individuals. Many believe its a christian based boycott but fact is its a boycott to try and uphold real family values and morally respectful beliefs. I encourage everybody I know to just sign the boycott and try to put Ford in their place. Gm company is a superior patron in equality unlike ford who pushes their 'modern values' on you whether you like it or not. Gm is not without flaws, no company is. Everybody has to abide by discrimination laws though it is discriminating to yourself just to be around homosexuals. Maybe somone will buy ford and change it around for the better, who knows. I work with a guy that is absolutely obsessed with being rich. He totally believes that money and sex are the only keys to a persons happiness. He says all of our adult lives we are constantly striving for one or the other. I personally think there is more to life than that. What do you think?
