I'm filipino and I'm learning how to speak Tagalog and I just wanted to test my speaking skills!

kumusta? paano mo ba tinuturuan ang sarili mo ngayon? Mas-madali kung paligiran mo ang sarili mo ng ibang mga pilipino at pilitin ninyong mag-usap sa tagalog. Pero kung mayroon kayong kasamang dayuhan (hindi Pilipino), huwag niniyo gaw'in dahil hindi kanais-nais ang asal na iyon.
translation:
hi (or actually, 'how are you?'). How are you trying to teach yourself so far? It would be much easier if you sorround yourself with other Filipinos and force yourselves to just speak tagalog. But if there are other people in the group who can't speak the language, put it off fo later because that just wouldn't be nice.

Magandang tanghali! Hindi ko alam kung paano ka natututo magtagalog. Ang pinakamagandang gawin ay magbasa ng mga libro na Tagalog at tingnan sa diksyonaryo ang mga salitang hindi mo maintindihan.
You can translate that...then try what it says..it might help...I'm Flip to but I was born in the Philippines so it easier for me to learn tagalog...

Yes, many people speak Tagalog - approx 22 million people in the Phillipines have it as their first language, and more than 65million as a second language.

Nakapagsasalita ako ng Tagalog. It would be easy as the vocabulary are becoming more and more English
