Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, KY started as a TB (tuberculosis) Hospital in the days before antibiotics. It became a retirement/nursing home at least a few years before it finally closed. In recent years, a Louisville couple, named Mattingly, bought Waverly Hills & is in the process of renovating it. Every Halloween, Waverly Hills is open to the public as a haunted house. It has alos been featured on TV shows about ghosts, even being named one of the scaried & most haunted places in the US.

it looks like it is not GOD who is speaking in that sura but somebody praying to GOD. I am a muslim but i dont understand arabic. I read the english translation of the HOLY QURAN.
Why does GOD say in verse 5 :Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek, and yet he himself is GOD?

1] In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

[2] Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds;

[3] Most Gracious, Most Merciful;

[4] Master of the Day of Judgment.

[5] Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek,

it's intersting, the only one that devil didn't touch when giving birth was prophet Jesus (Peace be uppon him).

Should I cover the hickey up with a turtle neck type shirt or with some make-up? Would the person conducting the interview judge me based on a single hickey and choose not to hire me? The hickey is starting to fade away bit it's still obvious, what should I do?

I saw this passage in the Bible that put a controvercy in my mind towards gay priests, lesbians and homosexuals. the passage is in Romans 1
21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.

24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

28Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
