The temple was his body.

People dress fancy because it makes them feel good about themselves. Atleast that is why I dress up.

All the Old Testament is a shadow of the New Testament, almost all things from there was pointing toward Jesus Christ and what will do. The new temple in our days, as the Bible is saying, is our bodies in which Holy Ghost is caming to live in and to sanctify us. By One Spirit we are all baptize in One Body, which is called the Church. About clothes and crowns, we can't walk naked on the streets, but i don't see true christians clothing themselves to be in step with fashion or wearing jewells. The true crown of a christian is his character.

Because the designed "king" or governor was Herod. He was angry in the temple because they didn't respect the holly place and they were using the temple as a shopping center.
Metaphorically, he destroyed the obsolete power of the priest (Rabbi).
The temple was the place to pray to Javhe in Jerusalem.
Remember also that territory was part of the Roman Empire, when Nero was the Emperor.

The Temple he was in was a desicrated Temple (meaning things we going on that voided it from being a house of God) and it was the one called Harods Temple built after Solomans. Isn't it interesting that to be a true Christian one must be unpopulare and humbl yet truth loving to the point of making others uncomfortable

I agree with ( upallnight ) that his body was the temple but He also said he would raise it up in three days which he did, through the resurrection..Glory to God! In the other temple (Holy of Holies) the Vail was rent from top to bottom and that symbolizes the new way to talk to God was not through the temple priest but through Jesus.

The temple in Jerusalem, built by Solomon.

The curtain in the middle was torn when he died. The temple itself was completely destroyed when Jerusalem was conquered, I think in AD 60.

As times passed and Christians began falling away from the teachings of Christ, instead of following his instructions about learning the Bible, Preaching the Bible, and teaching other to preach and teach. Christians decided that someone else should do it. As such, an elite class began to emerge in the church. These were ones who came to think of themselves as better and closer to God, than everyone else. The crowns and the robes symbolize these role their followers have granted them. They are following the exact same path as the Jews of old, but than that is what the Bible says would happen. The New Israelites(Christians) have fallen away and some are returning tot he ways of the original congregations. Now, you just have to decide which religion is.

the ones wearing the fancy clothes are just showing off that the are holier that everyone else and that they went to a school to learn a religion. so you better show them some special respect.
I don't remember the name of the church( may have been a synagogue) but it was destroyed during the earthquake that went along with Jesus' time on the cross.

We know that Jesus does now wear crown(s) and royal adornment appropriate to his exaulted status as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Of this, the Book of Revelation is clear.

What's your point?

The so-called "hip hop" culture is destroying civilization. All they care about is "bling bling" and 40 inch rims. They dont have any time for Jesus. Rappers are just lowlife scumbags who glorify gangs, drugs, crime, demeaning women, and generally acting like a "thug" (but in reality, they're just pussys)
