You can find second and third generation heros, heroins, enterpreneur, politicans, academecians, sportsperson and so on. But it is difficult to find first generation new comers in these fileds.

This problem is very serious in developing countries. That may be one reason, for excelence, people of developing countries rely heavily on the experts from developed world.

My school is mostly white. I don't hate white kids, but a couple of them i overheard said black people were stupid. THis is something that is starting to make me hat white kids. Yes, i do have some nice white kids in my school but most of them are the ones that hang out with other races in the school. Am i becoming a racist?

Proof #13 - Take a look at slavery
Here are ten passages from the Bible that clearly demonstrate God's position on slavery:
Genesis chapter 17, verse 12:
And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed. He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised.
In this passage God understands that people buy other people and, quite obviously, is comfortable with the concept. God wants slaves circumcised in the same way as non-slaves.
Exodus chapter 12 verse 43:
The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, "These are the regulations for the Passover: No foreigner is to eat of it. Any slave you have bought may eat of it after you have circumcised him, but a temporary resident and a hired worker may not eat of it.
God again shows that he is completely comfortable with the concept of slavery and singles.

Let's make an effort to spread peace around the world and do more good deeds. Start small, by saying Hi to your neighbours, pickup trash on the pavement, be nice to others, control your anger and think before making ridiculous actions, help others who needs help, etc, etc. Be the best ummah on the face of the earth. A christian friend of mine (16 years as friends) made the comment that it would seem the most pleasant christians dont really believe the bible all that much. Which is a bit confusing for him. He doesnt know I am an atheist yet. (he thinks I am just 'backslidden' christian)

I am not a Christian though I have conversations about Christianity regularly with "believers" of all types. When ever there arises an occasion when I get onto these Christians for not giving me a reasonable answer to a question they say things like, "You are blind," "If only you had the eyes to see," or "I am going to pray to ask god to open your eyes to the truth." This use to bother me until I was reading John and found out what Jesus said about those who are blind:

Jhn 9:41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

What do you guys, Christian and non-Christian, think of this verse?

Tell me why people do not know how to bid? The original reason for ebay was to bid on items, hoping to get them for cheaper than normal costs. People are so stupid they do not realize they can save a lot of money. First of all, NEVER BID on an item when the auction first starts. That is just retarded. All you are doing is raising the price. If people were smart they would all wait until the last minute and then bid. Guess what!? You may not win, but atleast you aren't paying a grip of money for the same crap. Just keep doing it until you win! And yes i do understand the reserves, which i guess is ok. But, for idiots that bid 6 months before the auction ends, what are you thinking?
