Why is it so hard to live up to?

I think that when it comes to the 10 Commandments we all fall at the very first hurdle: "You shall have no other gods before me."

Money, power, possessions - even apathy and ignorance now are treated far more highly in people's minds than the God who created us.

the forth.

most people worship on the day of the sun.

Eze 8:16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshiped the sun toward the east.

Eze 22:26 Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they showed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

The seventh day sabbath was never done away with by any scriptural authority. 40 years after Christs ascension and the Apostles kept the 7th day. God bless!!

Well everyone seems to act like over sexed teenagers that have a problem controling their hormones. Our society seems plagued by sexual images, sexual language, sexual predators, porn sites and the list goes on. So I would have to say sex is a false god for most people right up there next to money.

1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Look, the favorite hobby of Christians for almost two thousand years has been killing either each other or anyone different --- that's EVERYBODY, get it? --- so which commandment would YOU guess they have the most trouble with?

depends on which generation you ask.

if kids are honest, the honor mother and father one,

Middle aged, probably adultry

all ages have an issue with lying, other Gods

Man is not perfect, you cannot expect him to be, but that does not mean that he should not try.

Taking the Lord's name in vain....Not that I actually do this, but I do use curse words and that falls into the same category. I just like to curse to release my frustration. Not in public or anything, but to myself.

respect your Mother and Father, thou shall not kill, you shall not have other gods before me, not taking His name in vain, keeping the Sabbath Holy and rest, shall not commit adultery, shall not steal, not say lies about your neighbor, and you shall not covet in other words to be jealous of what your neighbor has and desire it basically, I see people having problems with all of these and if you think about it, its not very hard it is common sense
