Let's make an effort to spread peace around the world and do more good deeds. Start small, by saying Hi to your neighbours, pickup trash on the pavement, be nice to others, control your anger and think before making ridiculous actions, help others who needs help, etc, etc. Be the best ummah on the face of the earth. It's never too late. Let's start now.

But the name JIHAD refferes to terrorism as supposed by european & american media....

Jihad is fight for right...
Jihad is not letting others to take advantage of ourselves...
Jihad is going to learn something when u r opposed.....
Jihad is prayering to GOD when u are able to watch Tv or have free time....
Jihad is not watching porn when ur friends are watching & u know it...
Jihad is not having illicit sex when you have chace to do that...
Jihad is not eating anything in the name of Allah when you have every thing to eat in front of you, just to show how much u obey God....
Jihad is spreading Islam to people....
Jihad is showing some the right path , the true path...
Jihad is NOT terrorism....
Jihad is stopping non-muslims from killing muslims & offering Islam to them....
The western media needs to understand it...
The Muslims are not terrorists.....
& the Muslims are peace loving people....

If only that could come to pass.Sadly, there will always be a very Vocal Violent Minority that only exists to spread Hatred and Fear.While They Accuse all others, it is They who are Controlled by "The Great Satan".If a Competing News Organization that's completely Arabic Owned and Programmed, could somehow reach out in Peace, with Newspapers, Radio, Television, and Internet Service to the vast Majority who believe as You, and the vast majority of Islamic People, then Peace and understanding would perhaps help to begin a Jihad towards Peace. Al Jazeera spreads so much Hatred. This needs to be Balanced with a Competing Arabic News Service with a good level of Credibility. Perhaps someone reading this that wishes for Peace in the Middle East can find a way to Finance such a Worthy Venture.

Great idea. Hope Christians could join in. The last time I went to a church, I was appalled to hear a prayer for all persecuted Christians in the world. This is not a Christian attitude. It should have been a prayer for all persecuted people in the world.
Some Muslims have been side-tracked from the true path, but many so-called Christians have also been side-tracked. May God help us to find a middle way, before we destroy the Earth.

that was so nice to hear. yes that is what we muslims need today. i am a muslimah too, i feel that only if we practised our religion the way we should -- as Allah and His messengers have taught us, then we wont have any problems. if we excel our selves in helping others via Patience, endurance, forgiveness and Zakah -- then will other people know what Islam is all about. and the most important thing -- muslims world-wide should stop creating false hadiths and Bi'dah (Innovation of new traditions, rules and man-made laws).

A wonderful idea, but very naive in todays' climate. I don't think Muslims even know what peace is. They are brought up to kill and maim. It is very sad. Even those who are not directly involved in terrorist attacks seem to sympathise with those who are. I won't list the catalogue of crimes committed by them as we all know them too well. Let's just hope there are no more, but I think that's a bit too much to hope for.

it would be a start if all muslims could do more to stop their animal friends from killing and maiming innocent people. Maybe it would be nice if you all start to hold protests about terroism and show your trying to do something. I am yet to see a protest on the bombings of London or New york but your quick enough to go flag waving when the pope mentions something from the 14th century

We don't need to be muslim to do what this person suggests. In fact if everyone on earth, jew/gential, ect, did this we would all be better off. We could be the best human's on earth. We are the next generation, we don't have to follow in our parents footsteps if they are racist, mean, selfish.

Great idea except that too many mohommedans think the best way to peace is to kill all those who disagree with them. Worse still, the koran backs them up.
