I'm from the Far East Asia. When the strange sickness occur into my mother, we rushed them to the hospital but the doctors cannot diagnose the real sickness. All the specialist doctors did their best. My mother was confined in an expensive and well known private hospital. After 3 days of confinement, they ask us to check-out and bring home my mother because they said that my mother is already ok. After a day in our house my mother again got sick and started showing weird actions and her stomach became big and her legs became very thin. She said often times she feels very hot but that time is rainy season and the weather is cool. One of our friend got a suspicion (because of the weird signs) that somebody wants to kill my mother by evil doings & that is witchcraft. We again brought her to the hospital but the doctors said the same thing as before. To make this short, after 9 fridays of sufferings, my mother died painfully. I will appreciate your good analysis on this story, Pls help...

Sometimes it is the belief in curses and hexes that makes them seem to "work". A belief in a hex may cause someone to have a psychosomatic illness in the form of headaches. Once the person realizes this, their headaches will probably go away.

Sometimes an occultist will take advantage of a situation, and claim to be the cause of someone's misfortune. Example: someone dies, the occultist will claim they had put a hex on the person and caused it, even though they never did. People will believe it though, and fear the occultist has some kind of power. . Some occultists call this "glamor" or "lesser black magic". What it really is, is just plain lying.

It's rare that anyone who claims to be in the occult can actually produce results. A Christian who has Jesus has nothing to fear from spells and hexes. I occasionally get an email from someone who says they've hexed me and I'm going to go insane or die, etc, but they never succeed.

Witchcraft is subjective. I'm sorry that your mother had a strange death that even doctors cannot explain the real cause for....but, you haven't given us any other information to go by. Where country are you from? A coroner was not consulted as to ascertaining the cause of death?

Don't let yourself be so susceptible to superstition.

First, realize that doctors are not as great as you think they are. Humans are capable of a greater level of error than you imagine (such as believing in witchcraft, for example).

Also, if anyone claims to be able to do anything by witchcraft, all they have to do is prove it. Are they willing or able to? No. Any explanation they have as to why they can't show or prove it to you are thinly veiled excuses.

Don't be intimidated by others into believing pointless or silly things. You'll get less done in life, and it'll be easier for other people to take advantage of you!

I'm sorry to hear that your mother passed, but even if a witch did put some form of evil spell on your mother, I think it's much more likely your mothers death can be explained.

Yes, but it can get mighty personal when a loved one's death is involved.

As for the inconclusive findings, that's nothing new. Sometimes there's no observable explanation.

My Mom died after a heart attack. Her death certificate says "respiratory failure." Duh. She quit breathing. We knew that...
