I was reading the Case for Faith by Lee Strobel, and it talked about how hell wasn't exactly what people expected it to be. Like it being a burning place with fire or a frozen wasteland is just figures of speech. The interview in the book says that hell is a place where you are completely isolated from God forever. You reject God, you go to hell where God is no longer connected to you. Like burning fire and stuff are all just figures of speech. And it's not a torture chamber where you burn forever and can't die. What do you see hell to be as?

I heard that their is a site for people to stay in a town they are close to as they are traveling and they find online people that will let them stay free for the few nights.

Ape (noun): A member of the Hominoidea superfamily of primates.

Ape (verb): To imitate in every aspect.

Are apes so called because they are seen to imitate humans? Or is something that 'apes' something else so described because it behaves like an Ape?

Or are the two meanings totally unrelated?

my dad is a bears fan(go bears) well since my parents got together my dad got my grandma(from my moms side) into the chicago bears. she always knew the scores and everything. this year in may my grandma died. last sunday the bears were on tv. i think it was near the end of the forth quater and they were losing 12 to 16. i told my mother she should leave a picture of grandma sitting in the seat she always sat to watch the games 1 minute later they began to win and they won! i felt like crying but do you think my grandma was there or it was just me

For example: (I made this up so its not great)

God walks into a bar and asks for a drink. The bartender ignores him. So again he asks, but still, he's being ignored. So finally he shouts at the bartender to get him a drink. Nothing.

Furious, he storms out of the bar, where he runs past Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.

"Why's he so mad?" Inquires the Easter Bunny.

Santa Claus says. "Must have realized he doesn't exist"

About one month before my father died of Parkinson's Disease in his 80's, he told me about a vision he had of me standing at the foot of his bed in a long, White gown. He said I looked solid and not see-through, and he said that I looked SO beautiful. When he kept calling my name, I simply stared at him and acted like I didn't hear him. I would not respond to him. Was this an omen for his up-coming death? Is this what they call a living ghost? Why was I not see-through? Why did he see a vision of me and nobody else? Is anyone psychic who could explain all of this to me?

I have never heard of a Christian ever beating up on a gay person. That is not the way Christians are supposed to act. Preaching to them on the other hand is a different matter. I have nothing personally against gays they have a right to accept the chosen life style they want. But as a christian i also feel I should have the right to present to them an alternative lifestyle that is more adaptable to society standards. Not necessarily God's standard.

I am NOT talking about a healthy parent/child relationship, and I do NOT hate kids. I am talking about people who give children too many choices, are overly permissive, and/or expect everyone around them to plan everyting around thier kids. My boyfriend is like this, and I work with a few people like this....I was out shopping one day on a weekend, my boyfriend's son was visiting, and called me on my cell phone demanding I come home immediately because his kid was starving. I was like, "ok give him something to eat" and coworkers who demand the entire office schedule vacations around school vacations. The newest employee demanded to take vacation on certain days because her kids were doing this and that, and that "because _______ dosent have kids she has to switch vacations with me..." I told her "Sorry but _____ has been here the longest and you have been here the least amount of time and vacations are based on senority"

I have looked on ebay and searched all over the net , they saw toledo on them but Nothing even comes close to looking like them on ebay. Where Can i find out how much they are worth? On one of the swords it has family crest symbol with a kings crown above it, all of the other ones ive seem only have officers symbols.
