It is very difficult to put Jesus and God first, but this is the way it should be done. I have 3 children. and can't imagine leaving them in any circumstances. I can say the right answer and say that I put Jesus and GOd first, but then think about my kids and wonder if I really do that or if I just want to.

God comes first, but they are both precious. very precious. I consider my children gifts, but I know that as much as I love them...I know God loves them more.
By the way-- to all of the answerers- Jesus would never tell me to do anything wrong when it come to my children. It is about knowing God and having trust and faith. If you do not know him, you cannot understand.

MY FAITH, MY FAITH, MY FAITH. In Jesus as my Lord and Savior
and yes I love my children too.
For those who believe in God, God Is real, and we Love God before anything else. The God we serve will take care of ours.
The children belong to my God, He is the one who gave them to me.

The fact that you Barb put something you truly can not say is real before your family, that to me says you shouldnt be allowed to have children.. How many ppl in this world would love to have children but can not? How many kids have being abandoned by their parents, just wanting to be loved.. And you have kids and you devote more time to a imaginary figure... You are sad and I truly hope that your children do not grow up knowing Mommy loves "god" more then them!

God, family, country, self.
As long as God is first, I will be faithful to serve and minister to my family. Then I will be a good citizen. To accomplish these things, I must take care of myself. If these things are in order, God will use me to minister to others.

As the decisions made by parents affects the lives of their children, just as they did at Sodom and Gomorrah, so God and Christ should always come first.

Christ said to put Him above all. In the end of times, and even now, children will go against their fathers and brothers against brothers, in the spiritual struggle we are a part of today. The Bible says to put Jesus as #1 in our priority list, but it is difficult and requires a lot of prayer.

Thank - you for asking that question. Am curious to find out the honest response or whether some just give condescending retorts.
