My 18th birthday:

I was coming back home from an early appointment and had the radio on scan. I heard, "The second tower has just been hit. This is now being considered.." before it changed. Yep, I was born 9-11-83, and my 18th was 9-11-01.

because as you get older, you get less noticed. i noticed it myself. it was like when i was 8, they were all like, "YAY! Happy birthday!" Then ten yrears later they're all like, "Eh, yeah, happy birthday."
