ok, well I'm sure many of you expect this to be a "how can I love god better" thing, but it isn't. what I'm asking is why so many of you call Buddhism Idolatry?
now some of you will say "because it is"
but please give me a real argument for your case.

If not, doesn't that make you an agnostic regarding pixies, since you can't prove they don't exist? Isn't it improper to say "pixies don't exist", since you can't prove it?

There are people who say they've seen pixies, and feel the effects of pixies. Hundreds of books have been written about them documenting them.

Doesn't that shift the burdon of proof back to you since you are the one who says they don't exist in spite of this overwhelming evidence?

do you think that its wrong that their r thousands of ppl in Africa and places like that that r in need of shelter,food,and clothing.and celebs r spending millions of dollare in those exact things but for themselves. like it would hurt them to donate a grand when they make one movie they make 10 times that much?

Me and a guy who I CONSIDERED a friend. Were having a discussion about men and women. He stated to me "men and women can't be friends". We have know each other about 8 years and very close. We can talk about anything. I said "well we're friends, aren't we?" and he said he talks to me all the time, and visits me, and do things for me in hopes to have sex with me one day. LOL for 8 YEARS!!!. Is he living in reality? Are men really planning their whole exitence on the posibilities of sex? Is this your driving force in life?

Why or why not?

If you believe in one fantasy figure (God) then why shouldn't you believe in them all? Men wrote the Bible, and men have also been saying that strange things swim in Loch Ness (and other large lakes) for many hundreds or thousands of years.

Same for Bigfoot.

What's the difference?

Why do Christians dehumanize non-Christians? Its not all that do, just some.

Some may wonder why I pick on Christians, that everyone does this. I guess I would expect more from someone who follows Chr . . . err, he called non-Christians swine. Yeah I guess thats exactly what I would expect a follower of Christ to do, call non-Christians dogs (Matthew 15:22).

My opinion is that it is not. People aren't forced into war, you choose to put yourself into that situation where you can choose to kill or be killed. The second you enlist you are making a promise to kill. Even if there is a draft you can still be a conscientious objector. Killing is killing.

Can any of you suggest a saint to ask for intercession for someone caught up in a multi-level marketing company? I know people who are caught up in a bad mlm and I would like to pray that they come to their senses and quit. I can think of maybe St. Dominik, St. Augustine or St Anthony, but if any of you have better suggestions, please feel free to let me know.
