Yes, I think it's true. Ugliness will outshine cosmetic beauty any day of the week & if a person is ill-tempered and mean-spirited, that will certainly show through in their words & actions making pretty become vulgar.
Plain features, homely features, etc...can become very beautiful when backed by kind, compassionate nature, and therein lies true beauty.

True you mean right, or you agree with that staement? Truth to me is truth . Beauty exists only because it has an opposite. If everyone look like a model, are you still beautiful? Lets look at this, I know someone beautiful, but very mean and ugly inside. Does that make them beautiful? Beauty has alays been about attitudes and warped thought on this has confused us. Beauty is your soul first.

Physical beauty is superficial and is not as important as a person’s intellectual, emotional, and spiritual qualities.
Not unlike Sisyphus's (of Greek Mythology) task to roll a boulder up a mountain, it is sometimes pointless to make 'ugly' become beautiful. Though I would not agree that 'ugly' is always irreparable, as it should be the goal of humanity to strive to make both themselves and the world around them, beautiful.

100% YES!! Beautiful people sometimes are more ugly than the ugly people they supposedly outperform...ugly to the bone fits right for alot of rotten people out there....you know to the core!! I know many ordinary folks and semi-ugly people who are tons better inside than the beautiful people I know......not all of this is true for everyone though
...there is many beautiful people that are beautiful inside out and outside in.....
