From someone who claims they are agnostic about god, I would agree that they should be agnostic about fairies, leprechauns, santa claus, etc. Most agnostics though only reserve judgment about god, and flat-out assert that the afore-mentioned creatures don't exist (which is why I believe most agnostics are ******* unable to take a stand on controversial issues).
Apparently you are not very familiar with the concept of burden of proof. Only those who assert the existence of something are obligated to prove it. I can continue my life as I have been living, not believing in pixies, without having to prove that they do not exist. No evidence is required NOT to believe. If someone claims pixies do exist it is up to them to prove it, if they want others to believe.

There's even been pictures taken. Of course, some say they are a hoax, but they can't find that the pictures have been doctored in any way. Froud, I believe, is the man's name that has written many books concerning the "historical" evidence of such beings.
It depends on how the convo comes about, really. If I'm only stating my belief, I don't really see why I should have to prove to another Why I believe it. It's really none of their concern and they can think what they want. Now if I'm going out of my way to make other people believe (or not) and saying "this is the only way it can be", I better have something that is going to show other people Why it is that way, other than just saying "cause this book says so".
So, as I see it, the burden of proof goes on the person trying to convince others to believe as they do. Not the person just stating their belief or disbelief. Some of us really don't see any reason at all to try to convince others of what we believe. And a few of us, really don't care what other people think about our personal beliefs. My beliefs do not interfere with anyone here.

Although I haven't seen any pixies yet I am an agnostic concerning pixie existence. Too many things have happened to me that at one time I would have said was impossible not to keep my judgment about them neutral.

but see, they have proof: everyone who has seen them is lying/hallucinating/liberal, therefore all such evidence is to be completely discarded! it is easier to close your mind than open it, much like a door. you have to turn a knob, and pull, but slamming is easier and louder! sound familiar?
of course, there is no reason to not believe in pixies, is there? if they can believe that the laws of physics can be changed on a whim, why can't they believe in the People?

I am then an agnostic regarding everything, as there is no sound way to prove a negative, and I lack the ability to prove a positive.

You know, I never really thought you would receive responses arguing that pixies do exist. But you learn something new every day... :)

I've seen pixies and faeries. To do so, one must truly open his or her eyes. The reason most people are unable to see pixies is because they have been blinded by society.

**Can you prove the nonexistence of pixies? **
Yes,
I was just talking to her this morning.
If she doesn't pay me my money tomorrow like she said, maybe she will cease to exist for real.
If you see her let me know.
Thanks, and have a nice day.

Very clever.
Incidentally, it is impossible to prove that something does not exist.
