The catholic Church does not recognize divorce as ending a valid marriage. In order for a divorced person is allowed to remarry, it must be declared that the marriage was not valid in the first place.

A marriage is not valid if either of teh persons in the marriage was forced into the marriage or if either person in the marriage was not emotionally or spiritual capable of committing to to lifelong relationship. Another thing that would invalidate a marriage is if one of the persons withheld something about themselves that would have caused the other person to change his or her mind about getting married.

Secular governments have made Jehovah'
commands null and void. So we will continue to do as we please, end of story.
