I dated a Christian girl who was not a virgin but I am. That ultimately was the downfall of our relationship. I have struggled in my faith with lust and I want to know from other believers what it means to you to remain abstinent. Do you feel pressured to have sex? What do you do if you have had sex and then become a Christian? Do you find it hard to find a significant other when one of you has had sex and the other has not? I need some advice.

ok, I do believe in jesus, and that he died on the cross for my sins, but my issue is I have heard that if you backslide, that you will have 7 more demons surround you worst than the one you had before being saved. now I have been baptized but have not actually recieved the gift of the holy ghost, and I feel like I am being disrespectful by being in church knowing that I will leave and end up smoking a ciggerette or something, but since I have been baptized he has changed alot in my life and I truely believe that he is working with me and my issues that he has narrowed down to just maybe 3 things I need to work on to be christ like. now is wrong for me to feel this way, I come from a very spiritial family, but I don't need their pressures of you need to come to church. I think god will bring me when he thinks that I am ready. what do you think?

As some of you may of heard by now Pope Benedict was reading a passage that was written hundreds of years ago comparing Islam to Christianity. To sum it all up the passage basically stated that Islam was evil (not my thoughts, it was what was stated in the passage) But anyway many Muslims, and Muslim leaders got offended by the remarks calling the Pope a evil man who wants to kill the Muslim people and a evil man who would go down in history with the likes of Adolf Hitler and Mussolini. I find that to be real extreme, since many muslims want to kill out the Jewish people (which is what Hitler tried to do). Which brings me back to my question, Why do Muslims think it is ok for muslim leaders to call for the killing of Jews but it is not ok for anyone to call for the killing of Muslims. (not that the pope was calling for the killings of muslims, that is what the muslim leaders took the speech as)

Who here think that gangster rap music is one of the worst things in the black community. It's just so ignorant and ridiculous. The fact that the people who "sing" the songs get rich amazes me. If you don't think it's a bad thing, then please explain why.

Would you try to prevent them from talking to your children about their opinions on religion? For instance, would you want to prevent your atheist spouse from telling your children that they did not believe that God exists?

If you are going to say that you would not marry someone who was not a believer, then assume maybe they rejected your religion after you married.

Bias is the fundemental element to all opinions. I assure to all Atheist that I have a very deep understanding of science. I've studied it most of my life and continue doing so as an engineer soon to be a graduate student. My bias while studying science has been to assume a God-made universe. This has lead me to interpret my observations in such a way that I see God behind it all. Though if I was to start with the assumption that God doesn't exist I would have come to that very same conclusion.

The same thing will happen if you study the BIble. If you study it assuming it to be false you will find fault because you want it to be there. However if you look to it for God's truth thats what you'll find

It's your choice.

I was shocked at the number of men who were Christian that actually went to the home of the "underage bait" to have sex with a minor. What is the world coming to? How can society stop these predators who continue to do this?
