I was shocked at the number of men who were Christian that actually went to the home of the "underage bait" to have sex with a minor. What is the world coming to? How can society stop these predators who continue to do this?

kjelstad: No!! I am not saying this was a religious experience for the sicko creeps. I posted here because one of the answer on this question is the reason why. You try and guess which one.

dansmith54321: Too bad your countdown ends at 1, it should say BOOM so you would blow yourself up. You really don't make yourself look BIG at all with remarks like that. I guess you are either a child still or just don't have any children if you are indeed an adult.

It just goes to show that being Christian doesn't make you more moral than non-Christians. If fact, Christianity gives them an excuse to engage in this type of behavior - because all they have to do (apparently) is ask jesus for forgiveness and "poof!" they are forgiven, and their sins are washed away.
There's something wrong with that.

Christian = follower of Jesus Christ
You will know a tree by the fruit.
Gal. 5 talks about the fruit of the Spirit...both bad (not of the Spirit) and the good.
We must also be careful not to judge. It's not our place.
However, we must protect our children. We can start with knowing what they are doing and who they are spending time with.
These predators are of every race, religion and age...
It's a sickness when someone wants to have sex with a child. They need to be removed from our society; no child is safe from these predators.
Grace to all and God / Jesus Bless!

yeah it just proves that you have to beware of everyone. Parents need to monitor what there children are doing online, and not leave them home alone. They need to start doing more to these predators when they catch them, there should be no second chances. Dateline has opened alot of peoples eyes to the real danger that our teenagers face online.

I think its a tragic display of what we have created. Our culture has become so sex crazed that those who attempt to abstain face perversion rather than health.
Sex is not a necessity like food or water. It is a gift from God to be done within the confines of a marriage relationship. That is the only place it is beautiful.

No matter how hard we try, there will always be a bunch of sicko's in this world. All we can do is keep our children safe at all times.
