Im asking because so many people are saying that if you want to live in America, learn how to speak english. Is it really fair to say that since most Americans don't know a foreign languge themselves and go to other countries expecting eveyone there to speak english? Just a thought....

I mean why incur such huge expense if you don't expect a large number of people to come to pay respects. I would like to hear views of others. I ask this since our home is where we enjoyed some of our best and worst times.

America and Britiain opposed each other?

I mean, other than the American War of Independence, have there been other times when USA and UK have been on opposite sides of a serious issue?

They don't seem to teach history very well where I am, because all I know from history lessons at school was that Queen Victoria reigned for 64 years and that WWI and WW2 were terrible.

If you was making a documentary on the gay experience and growing up homo in a hetero world, what song would you choose to best sum up what you want the world to know about your experience's as a gay person!

I would use Lauryn Hill's song "Never Forget" from her MTV Unplugged 2.0 album, because "they got so much things to say right now."

P.S.
Although, I do appreciate her work, please dont list any song by Donna Summers! YOU KNOW WHY TOO!

Respect your RIGHT to believe, NOT the belief itself. Do you Xian "respect' the beliefs of VooDoo? Jewhovah Witnesses? Atheists? Muslims?

F*ck your stupid Jesus!

Is that infallible logic?

I am curious I have read a few articles and some postings about Messanic Jews. I would like to get a more human perspective on it. Is anyone here a Messanic Jew? What are your beliefs? Has anyone here converted from Judaism to Messanic Jew? Has anyone here coverted from Christianity to Messanic Jew? To those who have converted:Why did you convert? What attracted you to Messanic Jew teachings?

Thank you.

*make the person deny any other viewpoint,no matter how valid.
*make them deny their own family member,in favor of their cult.
*make them chant repetitive, meaningless "prayers" to brainwash them.
*make them feel invincable and always right.

Anyways, the only thing I think is real is my knowledge, but knowledge isn't really real or my experiences, but how do you describe them to others

But this knowledge I have has made me feel comfort but still looking for new knowledge.

I do however, see that I can create the heaven I think I will go to right here and now, and it may seem spiritual but it can also be called goal setting, or determination.

The idea that I can live in a environment of fantasy holds true when I daydream, as with Descartes saying, "I think..Therefore I am." I feel I exist in that focused awareness.

But as for the idea of god or many gods, the myth seems powerful and can change lives but why the myth was written is what amazes me. To put a story behind everything makes things so much more exciting and gives you more to think about and for that I'm grateful, for I feel the more I know, the more I can see, and my world is bigger, But, it doesn't solve the mysteries I still want to know, so .....

Since we are created in our Creator's image, aren't reason and rationality truly virtues?

Certainly being illogical and gullible are not virtues, nor is blind faith. In proverbs are the words, "Get wisdom, for wisdom is the principle thing".

Faith based on reason is a virtue, for no other reason that you have decided and know why you believe.

Do you as a practicing pagan shop for your products and if so what type of places and what kind of things? And if you don't shop for products that you use in your practice, doesn't it kind of limit the works that you are able to do or do you find other ways to improvise for missing ingredients?

How can you think that something is truth one day and lies the next if there has been no change in it? Since the Bible has not changed (not talking about different versions), what about you changed to cause you to reject it? When you were a believer did you study the Bible, or was your belief based on tradition?

I ask this because people say they believed until they read the Bible. If you didn’t know God’s Word while you were a believer, what exactly where you believing in??
