Catholicism is not classified as a cult, although in the op pinion of Protestants they make many errors and do not follow the Bible too well. A knowledgeable Protestant pastor is the answer. Forget about soliciting a family member---family members do not listen to other family members when it comes to spiritual matters---I am a pastor, trust me I know.

Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.

Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

I don't hate you. Let her believe what she wants. As long as she isn't hurting anyone or getting hurt in this 'cult' leave her alone.

Why not read the same books she is reading and find out rather than having an opinion not based on fact?
