To let you know, I'm an obese(fat) person. I know how it feels to be picked on for being fat. Fat people have unique great skills, unlike some skinny people. Probably the reason why fat people are treated different is because they don't feel confident about themselves.

Because, for some reason, many people feel superior to fat people. And, for some reason, it's socially acceptable to treat fat people with contempt--something that wouldn't be tolerated for any other condition.

Its because their issue (for lack of a better word) can be seen. Unlike druggies and alcholics where it can be hidden. Its a shame people are treated poorly because of their weight.

Because they have nothing better to do. Lots think that cause one is fat means that they're lazy that's why they're fat.

Because they are insensitive, prejudiced, mean jerks! They think they are better than everyone!! Albeit, they have an easier time shopping; but they still suck!!!
