Well its kinda hard to say. The Bible says Adam and Eve were the first human beings in the garden of eden. That could mean symbolically. Some believe that humans were originated in Africa too. All depends on the person.

I believe it had it's rudimentary beginnings in the Middle East (Noah and his family landing on Ararat after the flood... this is discounting Eden to prior to the flood, since most everything got wiped off the map then), however, people spread out at Babel, I feel that, while man spread out over the land simultaneously, some heading north and spreading out from there, others south and spreading out there, and some staying put, the area of Equatorial Africa and the Middle East together had a prolific population boom as compared to the rest of the lands.

In a way, I feel that Creationism and Science do indeed go hand in hand in this event.

I do. The truth of science cannot contradict the truths of faith, unless your faith is in error.

While faith is not opposed to science, the Pope noted that some scientific endeavor is aimed at opposing faith. "From the Enlightenment on, science, at least in part, has applied itself to seeking an explanation of the world in which God would be unnecessary," he said. The Pope added, "And if this were so, he (God) would also become unnecessary in our lives."

Man, "would then be nothing more than a chance result of evolution and thus, in the end, equally meaningless," said the Pope.

However, Benedict XVI, noted assuredly that attempts to show God as unnecessary in the explanation of the universe are futile. "But whenever the attempt seemed to be nearing success - inevitably it would become clear: something is missing from the equation!," he said. "When God is subtracted, something doesn't add up for man, the world, the whole vast universe."

Probably not, since the general perception is that Adam and Eve, against all reason, were snowy white.
