America and Britiain opposed each other?

I mean, other than the American War of Independence, have there been other times when USA and UK have been on opposite sides of a serious issue?

They don't seem to teach history very well where I am, because all I know from history lessons at school was that Queen Victoria reigned for 64 years and that WWI and WW2 were terrible.

1915 there was a war where we opposed Britain. It was nicknamed the second revolution. I don't remember much about it at the time.
Move to Iowa education is great here. If you can't then just work on gathering knowledge the best you can. Good luck.

I think in the run up to the Falklands war, USA was thought to be providing the Argentines with weapons...but then the British were also found to be providing them with weapons as well so it doesn't really count!!
