When I was fourteen I realised I was gay, I tried to deny it, until recently. Three months ago, a week after I turned eighteen, I got kicked out of my parents house, because I refused to end my friendship with John, after he "came out", but my friend John, who I have known since he was thirteen and I was eleven, has allowed me to stay with him since then.

Soon after getting kicked out, I realised that nothing is going to change me, I will always be gay, might as well accept it (was not easy to do, but I finally did), and I also recently have realised the feelings I have for my friend John, is more than friendship... and it scares me, I am not sure what I should do. I kind of just want to run off... But I do not think that would be the right thing to do...

I think there are too many deaths by drinking... anyone that has lost anyone would agree with me.

do you think that people getting killed trying to have some fun or by someone else trying to have fun is worth it? isnt it the same thing as just going out and randomly killing someone? they should at least take away someones license for a dui forever...

what do you think? why is it still legal to get drunk and possably kill someone?

While vsiitng my fiances parents in Puerto Rico for a week I met their first one and only Grandson. His name is "Numaury".

They dote on him continually and shamelesly to the point where it makes a visitor want to heave at times.

He is about 3 years old. Apparently he can do no wrong.

While his Grandmom was holding him he wrenched off her glasses and twisted them into a pretzel like shape and tossed them on the floor which evoked laughter and encouragement from both Grandparents!!!!

Then, later on after dinner I saw him calmly pull down his shorts and urinate agains the wall in the Living Room to his Grandparents utter delight !!!!!!!!!

What is wrong with her parents?

Is this some strange Puerto Rican custom to allow childen to urinate and "defacate" in the house...becuse that's exactly what he did later on in the kitchen, again to the Grandparents delight he squatted down and ...

They told me that was a sign of "Good Luck"!

I have noticed that in Islam when they do a movie about the Prophet Mohammed they never show his face out of respect to his position. But,as we all know, Christians portray Jesus in movies all the time. Do you think it's because Christians have less reverance for their savior or do they just not care? I feel like I'm being forced to stay alive - even if something bad happens to me like paralysis or cancer I cannot go to a doctor and ask for Euthanasia because it is illegal in the U.S. (except for Oregon - but those are for very serious cases).

Why do religious people (want to) take away my right to die peacefully in a hospital bed if (when) I am suffering physically/mentally even though I dont (and never will) believe in god, jesus, mohammed, or an afterlife.

I don't understand it at all - if I want to die I should have the right to die painlessly but the government (American Theocracy) will restrict Doctors in my effort to die painlessly causing me to instead commit suicide like a criminal in a motel room with a shot gun - a bloody mess.

I dont understand this at all. So why does the government and religious institutions (Christians) get involved into other peoples personal interest in wanting to die? - especially with those people who are not religious at all...

hi guys,
i have been christian all of my life. i go by king james or niv., but lately ive felt the desire to search further. i met someone who goes by qur_an. i like alot of what it says too. main difference is that quran doesnt believe that jesus is gods son, but another messenger. (many in old testament were also refered to as sons of god.) we are all sons & daughters of god(so to speak).
our bible (kjv) does have many inconsistancys.
look also at how god is made to look like in exodus...he sends moses and aaron to set ppl free, but them even magicians can duplicate what moses does(stick into snake, water into blood), all except gnats etc. and why would god harden pharohs heart if he sent moses on this mission? alot seems like man has got off track. jesus called himself servant of god , he never claimed to be god either. but i do believe that he was here, died for us and all of that. iam looking for something that combines gods word.
i know god is real, i feel him. other????
