In case you haven't, it's a story of a man's guided tour through hell, where hell has many layers depending on how bad the sin was.

It's a fascinating look at which sins were considered worse in Dante's day, and it may not agree with today's ideals. For example, the Gluttonous (sinning regarding excesses of food & wine) were considered to be worse than the Lustful (sins regarding sex & adultery).

If you have a second, what rank-order would you give to various types of sin? Begin with the lowest threshold thing you think would get in you thrown into hell, and work up to the worst.

and if you have more time to waste, take this test and see what layer of hell YOU belong in! (it's actually fun)

I am trying to discover the origins of the moon... i know one of the islamic symbols is a Moon... is there any scientific explainations in the koran as to how the moon came about and where it came from? thanks for any enlightening answers :-)

They are like gnomes, but they are parasitic. They remove your kneecap and take it's place. Have you ever thought your kneecap feels like a gnome? I have. They are smaller than most gnomes but they keep you healthy because they live off of your body fat... I think. How else could I stay so fit sitting at my computer all day?

I have depicted God as being contsrained by Time in several of my other rants-as all things that we know are TIME imposed by the continuing movement of progree that Time takes-it does not reverse-0therwise God could reverse time to the fall of SATAN-and give him another chance at following a path of righteousness and then the cause for hell is effectually removed-That said-consider the Earth in its entirety-a massive globe now fully mapped-and its size a relevant relation to its orbit around OUR STAR the Sun-giving it a place in OUR perspective-(as it relates to the circulating Galaxy that revolves as well)-If God-knowing that we needed to find out THE TRUTH-had made the EARTH-larger-it would have taken us longer to map it and populate it-as it is, the 2 things we have yet to do-to colonize underwater or in Space Man's Time on Earth is therefore constrained by Density and Destiny-R we being challenged in our intellectual capacity to carry on-or do we dream for nothing but REVELATIONS?

SIPPING VODKA
This is too funny - I still have tears in my eyes! Finally, a chain letter that I don't mind forwarding.
It's funny (don't break chain)

A new priest at his first mass was so nervous he could hardly speak.
After mass he asked the monsignor how he had done.
The monsignor replied, " When I am worried about getting nervous on the pulpit, I put a glass of vodka next to the water glass. If I start to get nervous, I take a sip."
So next Sunday he took the monsignor's advice.
At the beginning of the sermon, he got nervous and took a drink.
He proceeded to talk up a storm.
Upon his return to his office after the mass, he found the following note on the door:
1) Sip the vodka, don't gulp.
2)There are 10 commandments, not 12.
3)There are 12 disciples, not 10.
4)Jesus was consecrated, not constipated.
5)Jacob wagered his donkey, he did not bet his ***.
6)We do not refer to Jesus Christ as the late J.C.
7)The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are not referred to as Daddy, Junior and the spook.
8)David slew Goliath, he did not kick the sh*t out of him.
9)When David was hit by a rock and was knocked off his donkey, don't say he was stoned off his ***.
10)We do not refer to the cross as the "Big T."
11)When Jesus broke the bread at the last supper he said, "take this and eat it for it is my body." He did not say " Eat me" .
12)The Virgin Mary is not called " Mary with the Cherry,.
13)The recommended grace before a meal is not: Rub-A-Dub-Dub thanks for the grub, Yeah God.
14)Next Sunday there will be a taffy pulling contest at ST.Peter's not a peter pulling contest at St. Taffy's.
