Your question is kinda muddled, but I think you're asking about advantages the Americans had over the British.

First off, they had passion, it was their homes and their families they were fighting for. Secondly, they were fighting on their home turf. They knew the land, and could therefore disappear into the woods or surrounding countryside to the bafflement of British regiments.
