Being a Messianic Christian, I believe we should still do the Feasts and worship on the Sabbath, which is Saturday.
This is all in the Old Covenant, but I am not limited to the New.
We believe the Torah is the Scriptures that Yeshua believed, read and followed. He quoted it enough. We are to be like Him.
We believe the Bible is literally the Word of G-d and that Yeshua is the Word.

The Rabbi's of old also accepted Yeshua, but then some turned back to former ways and led others astray.

There is NO way we can separate ourselves from the Jews, we serve THE same Living G-d, Yahweh. Christians and Jews are the ONLY ones who serve the Creator. We have been grafted into the branch of the Jews. They are the main branch, we another.

A true Jew (race) is to have a Jewish Mother, a true Jew (religion) is to follow Torah. It is a matter of heart.

Jews have a veil over their face and are blinded to Yeshua. It is a miracle when one gets saved. Course, it is a miracle when anyone gets saved. All Heaven rejoices when one is saved. I love Israel and the Jews.

I am not related to the Jews. I believe that the Jews are the chosen ones of God. I respect them - They have a mission and a plan to fulfill.

I am a Christian, born again in Christ Jesus and I have a personal relationship with Him.

The only connection there is that Jesus was born of the chosen race - the Jews. And again, it's in God's plan.

Judaism and Christianity are the two oldest religions. Jesus Christ was a Jew. Judaism existed about 100,000 yrs before Christianity which came from the Roman Empire. Aside from that ,the two religions are completely different as Judaism refused to acknowledge that Jesus Christ is God and He died for us. Are you trying to propagate atheism via that site that God is imaginary? Underhanded.

If you knew your religious history you would know that Jesus was a Jew, as were most of the first Christians. Christianity began in many ways as a sect of Judaism. Not all Christians try to relate themselves to Jews, and actually Christianity is to blame for much anti-semitic thought. I'm not sure what your point is actually.

Why are you even asking this question?
Don't you think this makes you look stupid?

And as far as belief goes, it is not just related to Religion for eveyone believes in something which in turn defines their actions.

What would you do if someone called you stupid for believeing in whatever you do you believe in?

Obviously you are just trying to get a reaction out of someone because you are in some way insecure with your own beliefs. And no, that is not religion speaking, that is Science, Psychology 101.

Rock on, you have a clear meaning to your life.

to answer this question, please read the book of Romans, found in the new testament and written by a very educated Jew, Paul.

You will find that he takes great care to show us gentiles (christians) that we are now grafted into the chosen people (jews) and given full rights as such. We are adopted into the seed of Abraham, who is the father of all nations.

That is why we are now full "relatives" of the Jews as you describe.

Since Christianity claim Jesus of Nazareth as its spritual founder, it stands to reason that Christiand would consider themselves related to Jews, since Jesus was a Galilean Jew. Outside of his Jewish context, Jesus makes little sense, as prophet, savior, or christos. Christianity takes its scriptural and liturgical norms from those of first century Palestinian Judaism. Those are two very brief tidbits in favor of continutiy between Judaism and Christianity.

FAQ: Why different testaments and books in the Word?

"As regards the Word particularly, it has existed in every age, though not the Word we possess at the present day. Another Word existed in the Most Ancient Church before the Flood, and yet another Word in the Ancient Church after the Flood. Then came the Word written through Moses and the Prophets in the Jewish Church, and finally the Word written through the Evangelists in the new Church. The reason why the Word has existed in every age is that by means of the Word there is a communication between heaven and earth, and also that the Word deals with goodness and truth, by which a person is enabled to live in eternal happiness. In the internal sense therefore the Lord alone is the subject, for all goodness and truth are derived from Him" (Arcana Coelestia n. 2895).
