Interesting concept, but no. Religion and Spirituality do actually go hand in hand. It's just that some days this section does really get overwhelmed by those who like shoving their views down other people's throats. Have paitence. There are gems among the crap. Blessings.

My vote is for YAHOO to keep the Religion & Spirituality section. I have just found this and I find it very amusing, yet weired; serious, yet mis-informed; entertaining, yet very sad. But don't relegate the discussions and sharing of ideas to mythology & folklore just because not everyone agrees with what Religion & Spirituality means, or doesn't mean, to them. Someday we will all be wise enough to figure it all out. Until then,
God Bless the World.

I do not think so at all since they are two completly different sections. I think they should expand the religion and spirituality section so that way people can find their religion and there not be so many war's with in the religion community so to speak.

Like it or not, Religion and Spirituality is a viable force and is part of the human psyche. For those not believing in God and His Son, Jesus Christ, simply move on with your life because religion will not go away.

Find your own support system and hope that there is more after your death.

Why don't you go to and stay in the Mythology & Folklore section if you don't like it here?

Religion & Spirituality are different than Mythology to a lot of people.Spiritual is not always religous. Mythology has absolutely nothing to do with religion, so I think they need different sections.

Mythology is removed by a couple of generations. Religion is now. Spirituality is a personal experience. Get a grip and a few facts.

That could reduce the highly informative metaphor of mythology to the level of dogma and table pounding that is religion. Let's leave people their illusions.

It deserves its own section because a belief is a religion, even if the belief that there is no such thing.
