bills in the offering basket. Her belief, it seems, is that our offerings become God's money once we put them in the collection plate. But I think all things ultimately belong to God. So the money is His when it's in our pockets and purses, when we get it from the ATMs and anywhere else, too.

Who agrees?

Why did God created us? If He is all powerful and all that there is and eternal, perfect, unimaginable. He should be contented with himself or self sufficient. He does not need us. Was is it some point in eternity that He got lonely, bored? Thats why He created the Angels. And that He got tired of them and created Us humans for a change. So that it would be something new or interesting? Sometimes everything doesnt makes sense at all. I feel so helpless in reality and there is nothing I can do but live my life here and wait what happens in life and in the afterlife. Just being there watching for eternity. Waiting what God will do next. make me, break me, change me, send me to the non-existent then make me again.over again like a loop forever. Is it all about God, me and other beings? is reality or existence all about "vanity, ego, pride, love/hate for God, love/hate for self and love/hate for others" for infinity. Or is there something else far beyond those mentioned?

when someone looks into your eyes and maintains eye contact....with "misty eyes". Does this convey pity? Something else?

Scientists say that it is the psychological energy of the people around the board that drives the planchette. Others say actual spirits are involved and that use of the board can cause harm. Have you ever had any bad experience with a Ouija board, and if so, what was it?

of them yourself. Where is your morals? Oh, I guess that you can't find them. They are in your trash can with your bible, while in the meantime, you look in your closet to find the skimpiest outfit you can and prepare to go out and party. And engage in premarital sex and any other nasty, vile thing that you can think of. And not just women, either. You spend money to get t.v.'s on your cell phones and in your vehicles because you can't stand to miss your favorite "reality" shows. You buy tabloids buy the dozen so that you can catch up with your favorite clebrities and get ideas of how to be more materialistic.

I was born in Michigan, raised in New York and Virginia, an now live and work in the South. I have no intention of going any more north than Virginia ever again. I was raised in a rural environment even in New York (yup there be cows up there) and that is what I like.

I was raised to be polite and respectful even to people I do not like. Children and family are to be treasured and put before work, money, and material things.

Some folks here call me a Yankee even when I have the same beliefs, values, and core ideals that they do.

So what is it? Birthplace, lifestyle, or attitude?

I'd like to have a gift exchange for the family this Christmas and it is too difficult to draw names. I'd like to do something where we have everyone bring a generic gift of $20-$25 but I want to tell people to keep them generic (i.e. non-gender specific). Any ideas?

Religion seems to be more addictive and it's cheaper but both seem to have pretty much the same effect on people. Massive mood swings from the cloying lovey-doveyness and joy to hatred and ultra-violence, for example.

Which is best? Which deserves to be taxed more?

Obviously, you have chosen your religion for a reason (if you have one).

Is it simply because you were raised on your religion, and are afraid to leave it?
Or does your religion offer some practical usage in your life?
Did you compare your religion to the many others and determine it to be the best?
If so, using what criterea?

Do you TRULY have faith in your religion, or do you simply accept it's role in society and use it to "fit in" or something similar?
If you do truly believe, WHY?
What source have you recieved your religious information from? A holy book? A Holy man? Personal Experience?
How do you know you can trust that source?
