So I am really attracted to this guy at work, he used to be in the Navy and is really hot, I think he has been hitting on me for the last few weeks, but I really cant tell if it is just me thinking that he likes me or if he really does. WHAT do I do; he really acts straight, but last week he emailed me and said that he wanted to go out with me. Is he just pulling my leg or what? PLEASE help me! (I am 24 years old and he is 37).

Sweetness, I would suggest you invite him out for something "safe" like coffee first before you decide to go out on a date. That way you can size each other up (no, not that way...stop that) and it'll be sort of a neutral enviroment for the both of you. Good luck.

If he knows you are gay then he prob is too, I don't think a straight man out of the army would show so much interest. and trust me, there are gay men in the navy, I stayed on a base this summer and met a gorgeous guy who later confessed he wanted to do me

Don't start playing games. Since he's older and you're younger, playing games may be a real turn off for him if he is indeed attracted. Just accept the invitation to go out, and I'm sure he will make his intentions clear once you're alone with him.

I say yay for Nick, age does not matter...go out for some cocktails (LOL) and let it take it's course or you can be up front with him...tell him when you are not working that you are not interested in going out to dinner with him because you are gay and he might tell you he is gay up front or he might just want to be your friend...but do not email him your thoughts, tell him verbally because emails can get into the wrong hands, especially work emails, they belong to the company and I don't want to see you get fired!!!

I'd ask him what his views on homosexuality are.. you could just go along with it, but be cautious.. he may be trying to lure you into a trap..despite the US being a free country (yearight) it is still a dangerous place for anything different..

Tread carefully he may be trying to set you up to be killed or bashed or something. Make sure he really likes you and make sure your first date is in a very public place.
