my friend and i were trying to make a code of the alphabet to write notes back and forth and if someone got it they couldnt understand it. we tried several ones but they seemed to hard. do you have any ideas?

Just shift the alphabet by 1 letter. Put Z in front of A.

Adapt Hangeul, the Korean alphabet, to your messages. It is simple, logical and beautiful. And if you adapt it, nobody will understand it. Give it a try!
[I am not telling you to learn Korean. Only to use Korean alphabet to write in English]

give the letters two digit numbers 01=a 02=b

How hard could it be to come up with a code? My guess is if neither you nor your friend can come up with a code, you aren't bright enough to decode one.
