of them yourself. Where is your morals? Oh, I guess that you can't find them. They are in your trash can with your bible, while in the meantime, you look in your closet to find the skimpiest outfit you can and prepare to go out and party. And engage in premarital sex and any other nasty, vile thing that you can think of. And not just women, either. You spend money to get t.v.'s on your cell phones and in your vehicles because you can't stand to miss your favorite "reality" shows. You buy tabloids buy the dozen so that you can catch up with your favorite clebrities and get ideas of how to be more materialistic.

No, Free Spirit. My slate is not clean. I think that I stole a piece of gum in grade school. People can call me judgemental if they want, if what I say does not apply to you, then I am not talking to you. People just cannot handle the truth when it is thrust in their face. Look at this da** society and tell me I'm wrong. Because then you will be a liar.

My degrees are in Education.. I would NEVER NEVER teach in a school because of what the kids are today.. At first I was shocked and then ashamed but now.. I am very very much afraid of what is happening.. ... It is the degradation of the United States and I do not think there will ever be a way to climb back to the top

There has always been people like that in EVERY generation, the only difference is that in the past that kind of behaviour was reserved for the rich, because everyone else had to work too hard..... Now everybody can afford to be an idiot. PS dont generalize TOO much it is only a fraction of the worlds population of people who are like what you described. PS you dont need to be a bible thumper to have morals, most thumpies I know have little or no logically based morals, and instead are blatantly hypocritical of what they preach to be sin... for example "its ok that pastor so-and-so molests boys, he asked god for forgiveness, so dont tell anyone" but if you have premarital sex, you are going straight to hell..... makes no sense!
I dont need a bible to form my morals, I dont give a flying *** about celebrities, and I am not even remotely materialistic.... just ask my dogs and cats I go without all luxuries to provide them with a good life, hell I even go without food to feed them when I am broke. By the way premarital sex is the least of your worries about society this day and age.....

I think that every generation is defined by what it fears--and this one doesn't fear much of anything. That's the problem. Lose your Hollister hoodie? Mom will buy you another one. Lose your job? Apply somewhere else in the mall. Need a week off to go to the beach, or a night off to go clubbing? Call in sick, or get a bogus doctor's note.
The current generation has me baffled. I hire many people under 25 and they don't show up for their shifts, they don't want to work weekends when everyone else in the same job has to, and rules don't mean anything. They come from all income levels, all races, all nationalities.
I really believe that this is the generation of the ultimate second chance--i.e. no matter how badly you f*ck up, you can always be forgiven if you shrug and smile cutely. You can't spell, you don't know anything about history, and no one in your family--rich or poor--ever read you a bedtime story. But you're street smart and sneaky.
When I do get somebody exceptional, I pay them as much as I can afford to, because they're so rare. I don't want to stereotype everyone in this age group--but man, the ones out looking for jobs instead of going to college are so shallow it's criminal.

I've got a few of those "this generation kids". I raised them. I taught them to respect themselves and others. They dress in the clothes that they choose to wear and they buy magazines and dream of owning better cars and they have cell phones.
Did I mention the fact that they work hard for the money they use to buy what they want and they do respect themselves and others. They have a great sense of humour, they love life, they have fun, they take responsibility for themselves and only ask for help when the need it. I HAVE RAISED SOME GREAT "THIS GENERATION PEOPLE! AND THEY HAVE MORALS!!
I should also mention the fact that "Honor Roll in School is not expected, but is constantly achieved" (at least by my kids) I can find little fault with "honor role and part time job".

While I will never say that everything this world does is right, I don't believe that all in my generation, or any generation, are as bad as you make it out to be. There will always be those that are the loners, those that are different from the crowd. We will never be the majority, but we exist.
My morals stand by me every day, in every action that I do. I will admit that I have made mistakes, but I learn from them. People with morals exist all around you, all aroud me. What may be happening is that you aren't looking hard enough. The deep good people you seek for can't be like the rest of them, so you won't see those with morals, those that follow their religion devoutly. There are people who follow the codes of ages past, but they are mostly invisible because people see them as backward and strange. If you look to them you might find someone you are looking for.

Actually I dont. I've had the one partner for years, I have a mobile phone as I need it for work, I dont buy tabloids or watch reality TV as I can find many better things to do with my time.
I think you need to start looking for the good inthe world instead of just the bad.....

A soft answer turneth away wrath. Yes it is true taking God out has ultimately led to our downfall. But I think most will become angered by the way u phrased this. I feel your passion and can see that u are someone with a good head on your shoulders.

Who made you the moral police. I gave up years of my freedom to protect this country so that all people can be free to do the things that they want inside of the law. You don't like it, don't look at it. Your free to be a moral as you want to be, no one is stopping you, but don't try to push what you think is moral on others, if they are not your kids then you have no right or responsibility to them.
