you realize incorrect. The Quran has been replaced. it fairly is interior the ahadith some goat ingesting a verse, verses lost with adult males killed in conflict. Uthman burned rival copies of the Quran and Muhammad allowed for version readings, which nonetheless exist. Sunni and Shia have differing variations additionally. i've got study that once getting into Saudi Arabia, Quran's are checked and those that are diffeent from the only accepted there are confiscated. So, you may desire to study the reality and it fairly is not Islam. The Bible warned us approximately Islam from the beginning up. It says in Genesis that Ishmael could be a wild guy, his hand against all adult males's palms. it is the line for Muhammad and Islam. The Bible warns of fake prophets, fake teachings. It tells to attempt a spirit in the previous believing it, some thing that Muhammad in no way did! The Bible says that interior the top circumstances, the followers of the Antichrist and his faith will behead human beings. Muslims are people who do this. a million John 2:22, "who's a liar yet he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? he's antichrist, that denieth the father and the Son." Islam denies the father and The Son!

Actually, I think it represents a difference in philosophies between the two religions.
I can't speak much about Islam, for I have little knowledge. From what I do know, Islam forbids images of God and pictures of people or animals in the Mosque. The refusal to show "Mohammed's" face may have something to do with that. They also believe that God is absolutely unknowable and invisible.
If I have misspoken here, I trust the Muslims present will offer correction.
Christians do not consider God unreachable or unknowable. We consider Christ to be God revealed in human form. Depicting Jesus with an actor (whose face is shown), is simply an acknowledgement of the accessibility of God. Jesus came as God, as Human, as Mediator, to make God accessible to us. Showing the face of the actor just reinforces this "touchability" of the Christ. It is in no way disrespectful.

It is Islamic Law
We are not to depict any prophet so that people do not worship the prophets but only God.
This was because 500 years after the death of Jesus (pbuh) people had begun to worship him as God not as a prophet
Today Christians view Jesus (pbuh) with a European face blonde or light brown hair and usually blue eyes. How could this be when he was Arab or Jewish. The Bible says that he had hair of wool.

Um...neither. Sharia mandates that the Prophet's visage not be approximated.
Christianity has no such law.
Besides, any portyayal of Jesus is a guess. The European blue-eyed Jesus is a farce; Jesus was Palestinian.

Islam is a false religion. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Light. No man comes unto the Father exept through the Son, Jesus. Why do they not show Mohammeds face...? Does it matter?

They don't show Muhammad's face because we Muslims never, ever portray him in any way, and doing so would cause an outrage.
The reason that Muhammad told people never to draw pictures of him was because he didn't want people worshipping him after he died. He didn't want his status as prophet elevated to that of God himself.
whynotaskdon's quote:
"Nope--------------less to hide!
We are ALLOWED to use our imagination--the moon worshiping people are not."
Yeah...no. Sun worshipping people like you (only and specifically) should never be ALLOWED to have the freedom to set one foot outside of a nuthouse, much less have creative thinking. Chortle.

I think Christians in America show respect for Jesus by not naming their kids Jesus. There really hasn't been a lot of movies about Christ. The 1979 Jesus Film from the Jesus Project is good if you can stand the traditional "white Jesus."
One of the good things about Christ is that He is God visible. Why not show him?

Its strange that the first person who commented on this question said that americans dont name there children Jesus out of respect. But Muslims name their children Mohammad out of respect.

OK, heard of this?
Exodus 20:4-6 records the Second Commandment. Here is God’s explicit directive: “YOU SHALL NOT MAKE UNTO YOU ANY GRAVEN IMAGE, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me; and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep My commandments.”
God specifically defined the forbidden ways that were used to worship idols. He realized human nature’s tendency to justify loopholes around His instructions
Initially there were pictures and paintings of muhammed-pbuh but when Allah ordered muhammed-pbuh, since then paintings, idols and any image is forbidden in Islam. actually when an artist tries capturing the human or any life form in art, and presents it for the whole world to see, then we appreciate the image, rather than the true beauty of God the painting or sculpture was inspired from.
is it not wrong to worship a false image when u consider him God.? christians agree that the image of Jesus-pbuh was an interpretation of an artist, but yet again beleive that it was how jesus-pbuh looked like.
let me make one thing very clear to u. love for God does or his prophets does not come from the images, crosses and tasbis in our hands and necks. the love for God should be sealed forever in ur heart. thats important and thats what counts.
