What's the big deal with the shedding of blood? People always say Jesus died on the cross for you.?

Shouldn't it be Jesus shed his blood for you? that seems to be the big deal, the PRICE THAT WAS PAID, but I shed more blood than he did when I stepped on a huge piece of glass yesterday, really. He should've been prone and stabbed in the stomache or something similar, right?

Hey you christians where do you get this do not judge stuff from?

My reading means do not condemn. That does not mean do not descriminate. Other wise where does reproof and correction come from. There is a big difference between judging and condemning get it right, we are expected to descriminate our activities. This business of only in your own church is also a deep error. There is only one Body in God's eyes. If I'm wrong give me the scripture, but read it in context first

Does it bother you when you are eating out and friends come over to shake your hand. That bothers me.?

First of all you don't know where they have been, what they have toached. I am not a health fanatic, but my hands are clean when I am eating. O yea! I could get back up and go wash again when they finished socializing..

I stole some host from my buddies church this morning, what should I do with it?

I was going to flush it down the toilet - would that be bad?- would I go to hell?

What is Kabala and is it a fad or is it a cult? Are they recriting?

Are they just doing their thing or are they recriting like scientology? I think it is more dangerous when a group is recruiting than if they are leaving people alone. What is with this group Madona is into? Is it dangerous or are they harmless? Does this faith offend the regular mainstream Jewish faith? What other groups is it offending? I read the wikpedia article, but need more info. Is this a hollywood fad or are they pushing it on others?

How can you go to a place that doesn't exist???

Why do some people on here say that good atheists will go to heaven (the place that they say does not exist). I'm not judging anyone because anyone can be saved, but if someone rejects the existence of heaven and God, and never accepts His gift of salvation, how can they go to heaven. Why would they even want to, since they say it doesn't exist??????

This idea makes absolutely no sense to me.

Christians, do you laugh at the things people post here?

One thing that I have learned in this section is that you can't take religion seriously. I have even laughed at the stupidities some atheists post here with the purpose of making fun of Christians. I obviously find certain things unacceptable but that's another story. I almost chocked on my own saliva from laughing so hard.

How would you describe yourself? In what category would you put yourself?

I just heard someone on the TV say that when people ask her to describe herself, she says that first and foremost she is an American. Do you think the same way. Would you describe yourself primarily in terms of your nationality, your religion, your gender, your political affiliation, sexual preference or something else After telling me your primary category, what follows after that. I do not want words like friendly, sexy, easygoing, opinionated, etc.

Wedding etiquette which is the right way, grooms parents contact brides parents first or the other way around?
