One thing that I have learned in this section is that you can't take religion seriously. I have even laughed at the stupidities some atheists post here with the purpose of making fun of Christians. I obviously find certain things unacceptable but that's another story. I almost chocked on my own saliva from laughing so hard.

I don't have a "religion", I have a relationship. I take my relationship with the LORD seriously. My first reaction is to laugh, and then I realize what a sad lot these people are, and I just shake my head. They just can't seem to see that they are exactly what they rant and rave about. They hate God, Christianity, and Christians. They think they're mocking Christians, but they're really mocking Him, and they seem to get morbid satisfaction from it. What a life it must be to be filled with such hatred.

I tend to agree with you--there are some atheists who do a very good job of making fun of Christians, and most of the time it's pretty funny. There are a few times when things get a little out of hand, but for the most part, it's all in good fun.

imagine what ya choose, i comprehend more effective. Having The Almighty attain down, and loosen my stuck seat belt, to maintain me from drowning, replaced into how He ultimately were given my interest, after years of operating the earth as a heathen. He gave me a call, no loose will, notwithstanding the freedom to settle on.That replaced into Oct. twenty 9th, 1996. In June of 2003, i replaced into used, via the prompting of The Holy Spirit, to be the vessel which saved my eldest daughters existence from ending in a capturing incident in Montana. there are one of those great number of alternative "actual" miracles which He has executed. i'm alive, and so is my daughter, do what ya choose, your eternal homestead is on you, won't be able to blame each person else notwithstanding the single you spot in the reflect. Ya have get entry to for your own own "human" vendors guide, if ya do not examine, and learn, that is on you.

It reminds me of other posts that make fun of Americans. It gets pretty old after awhile. One can never fall too far from God, so while Christians can see through the facade, it remains true to never give up, give in, and share the Good News with compassion to those who truly are seeking.

You're not the only one that laughs at the foolishness of the rebellious; so does God:

"Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and against His Annointed.....He that sits in the heavens shall laugh....the Lord has them in derision.""
Psalm 2:1-4

Oh sometimes the stuff really cracks me up, sometimes it's genuinely funny. My favorite thing to laugh at are the nonbelievers who call Christians "hateful judgmental hypocrites" and then go flame all the Christians with hate and judgment. And of course the people ( believers and nonbelievers) who try and appear intelligent and have the worst spelling and sentence structure.

I take religion very seriously because it is the one thing in my life that I know I can trust. I believe in the Lord whole heartily. I am not just a Christian on Sunday, but on every day of the week and every second in everyday. I can take a joke when it's not meant to hurt or insult others. I have also learned to treat others with love and compassion even when they are hateful.

no.. i don't think most of the things ppl say here are funny, especially when it's poking fun at a certain religion. i'm christian, but even when ppl are saying stupid things about islam, i get offended, because i think in order to have an intelligent conversation, you need to come from a place of respect.

If it wasn't so sad it would be funny. The mockery of God and Jesus Christ wont go unnoticed. Ive often thought for someone who doesn't believe why do they put so much into it. They know God gives a free will but they would like to take our free will away. Strange isn't it.

No, and I do take religion seriously. Did you know that God is a Happy God? HE would not laugh either at the people or their questions. Not in a happy way, HE is laughing in derision.
