My reading means do not condemn. That does not mean do not descriminate. Other wise where does reproof and correction come from. There is a big difference between judging and condemning get it right, we are expected to descriminate our activities. This business of only in your own church is also a deep error. There is only one Body in God's eyes. If I'm wrong give me the scripture, but read it in context first

You are absolutly right. I think you mean discernment though? God has already said that we all fall short of the glory of God so we don't have to condemn anybody. He does command us not to judge others for by the same measure so shall we be judged. However, He did give us brains. Have you read the passage after that verse? Matthew 7:2-5

We are called not to judge because we are selves do the same thing that we are judging another on. What the next verses say is that we need to remove our own sins/areas of problem from our life so that we "may see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye" (discernment and wisdom). When we remove sin from our own life we won't be judgemental but understanding to help those around us to continue to grow to maturity in Christ.

I am obviously not saying that we will ever be sinless but don't you find that those who help others the most are those who have gone through the same issues? If you have struggled with a particular sin or addiction you are much stronger to bring up our brothers and sisters in Christ.

As for those who are not in Christ...again we don't have to condemn them just show them the law.
Psalm 19:7-8
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart, The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

When their eyes are open to the Law of God, then we can show them the grace and love of God.

OK, some examples: While we must judge good from evil (works, influences, messages, practices, etc.) we are told NOT to judgebelievers or hold them accountable to God's laws, which can only be understood by those who are filled with the Holy Spirit. (Read 1 Cor. 2:14-16) When we discern error and the Holy Spirit prompts us to correct a brother or sister, we must "speak the truth in love." We must help each other in our walk with God. (Read Eph. 4:14-15) Since only God knows the heart of a person, we cannot judge whether the person is saved (born of the Spirit) or not. "Jugdge not that you nay be judged. (Matt. 7:1-2) When judging error, the focus is on the act and teaching, not the person. (Luke 6:35-37, 41-42)

Many human beings have dedicated their entire lives to the scriptures since its first incarnation appeared. To this day people spend their entire existence attempting to understand the Bible. The result of such dedication is countless numbers of Christian denominations. The reason for this, I believe, is that each person, complete with their own ideas, influential histories and environments, interprets the bible in a manner which makes sense to them. It is a natural human tendency to attempt to make sense of the world. That is why an Eastern Orthodox Christian may interpret the same material in an entirely different manner from a Southern Baptist or Mormon, etc. Much in the same way two students might differ when interpreting the meaning of Othello in a High school English class. I think it's unreliable when one person, reading the English version of the bible, with their short years on earth, and personal bias, says they have found the "true" interpretation.

I believe in " whoever is without sin can cast the first stone"
I do not judge people. I don't go around saying " your going to hell because your gay!" or anything like that. Jesus loves the sinner and so do I.

i'm confident that many would share Gandhi's sentiments the following because we do not continually behave as we ought. even if, even with affirming that he 'loved' our Jesus, if he did not settle for him as his Lord, draw close and Saviour through asking Jesus for forgiveness of his sins, he doesn't be kept and, for this reason, heavily isn't in heaven for eternity.
