Because even though our sins are forgiven through Christ, the earth (and humankind) is still under the curse that God placed on it. Jesus will redeem the earth, and us, one day and the curse will be removed.

The first thing that someone should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.
If God is supposed to be perfect how could She have made anything or anyone that wasn't perfect.
Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.
First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.
How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work?
It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.
One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.
Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.
If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.
If this is the case and Gods creations are perfect, then nothing that we can do could change what God created perfect and make it imperfect unless we think that we are more powerful than God is.
How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.
Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then it could hardly be logically for Gods creations to be considered to be anything less than perfect.
If this is the case then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection that God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.
How likely is that????
Think about it.
The idea of sin is simple nonsense; a lie made up about God by religion.

The same reason that men still pay for ADAM'S sin. Jesus didn't make all our sins just go away, we continue to sin. However he did make it possible for the forgiveness of sin (including the original sin) so we all wouldn't have to suffer death. Believe it or not the Bible tells us that there will be a time when death will be no more (in the not too distant future).

Contrary to popular misconceptions, Jesus did not pay the price for everyone's sins.
If that were truly the case, people would no longer die, God could no longer send anyone to hell, baptism would be unnecessary, and Jesus would be in hell right now, experiencing our eternal penalty.
Jesus came to destroy Satn's dominion over mankind. to make repentance for our sins truly possible, and to establish the kingdom of God on the earth.
He certainly achieved all of this.
For anything more, we must await our own eternal reward and/or the end of the age, when all things will indeed be restored.

I would say that the original sin of Adam and Eve mutated both them and their progeny (us), as well as brought destruction to the world. Until the mutation is removed (re-creation of the world), we all still suffer the effects of the mutation, and see the effects of the decay in the earth.
The sacrifice of Jesus creates a way for us to be reconciled to God individually. This reconciliation is spiritual. The world will be, eventually, reconciled to God, but it hasn't happened yet. We are all still in bodies conditioned to a "fallen" world. Only our spirits and souls can be reborn. The physical world will follow later.

The same way as the men pay for theirs. We have to bear up in child birth, and the men have to work for a living, it wasn't just women, it was men too. Women are not mistreated in the Scriptures, Jesus loved women, many of them followed Him with others and took care of Him and ministered to Him. He healed many women as well as men and children. There are some really nice things said about women in the Scriptures.

i think of that adult males might die regardless....How might Adam and Eve reproduce kin, in the event that they can't die, nor the kin no longer die? Adam could be over 6000 years previous right now, additionally Eve....and their toddlers, no longer far at the back of them, maximum excellent as much as us...who might by no ability die additionally. that would not make any experience. guy has to die, to be sure that different issues to have the potential to stay. purely spiritually, can we no longer die, yet then we don't reproduce the two.

Hi Katie. Modern life is not poetry. Unfortunately the book has not followed God's orders that say, "Don't add and don't subtract" to put in modern language. Therefore, when women became the 'lesser sex' it became fashionable to put them in their places (control - sound familiar?). I don't think God is punishing us for original sin, I believe that is all too human a trait. Jesus washed away our sin and God is a loving and forgiving God. Humans have the unfortunate wish to control. God gives free will. What does that add up to for you?

It isnt exactly "paying for someone elses sin" but because they both ate from the knowledge of good and evil... evil exists along side of good. So even though we still have joy and pleasure, we also must have grief and pain. So that by our own free will, we can choose good over evil.
