i will be slaving away making/decorating cakes for parties and whatever else people have going on tomorrow. I work in a bakery so i dont get holidays off, theres always some idiot that wants a cake or a donut or rolls! but im glad, the losers that dont work dont get time and a half like i do!!! ha ha

You're not an idiot. Some people have to work. My husband works all holidays!! He manages an animal kennel and the animals have to be fed and taken care of.

no you are not an idiot..i am working..getting paid 8 hours and then another ..say 10 hours for actually working..so will have a pretty nice paycheck at end of week..more than the others at my job..who aren't working..they are losers...

I'm in the military today is the only day off that i've had in over a month tomarrow is no different. I have "staff duty" which starts at 0800 and ends at 0800 the next day.

don't feel bad, I don't get a lot of holidays either, I work in the stock market and we only get the days the stock market is closed! I do have tomorrow off but I don't get a lot of days either

i work 12 hour shifts 3 on 2 off 2 on 3 off.....
as it turns out i am off for labor day...
but i have to work thnanksgivving,christmas halloween and easter.....actually again the pagan counterparts...
so i have to work Saween, Yule, Winter Solstice, and Beltane and thanksgivving
but i have Labor day off...YAY......
