If you were in a position to save some one who is certainly going to die and you are the difference between that life and death.

Here is the twist, you know for a fact that person is a murderer.

Do you save them...yes or no..and why?

I am happily agnostic and dated a devout Catholic guy for a long time (he was the love of my life). At some point, he decided I was unsuitable/not good enough for marriage or even just casual stuff, but he didn't say anything to me. Instead, he just withdrew, got colder, and kept stringing me along as though we were still still a couple.

In fact, it wasn't until seven months after we broke up that he told me why things got so bad. I had never even known that our differing belief systems was a problem or more than a challenge to be enjoyed. I would have converted if he had pled his case while things were still good between us, but he never gave me the chance to make that decision.

My question is: do interfaith relationships always turn out so negative and hurtful? Is it just a Catholic thing? How common is going through something like this?

from what i understand philosophy is the greates enemy of truth, so truth must remain unknown. and hidden.
i dont think jesus died for our sins he died cause christians belived he sined. galileo died for beliving that the earth revolved around the sun. what other truth is out there behind a religion.

Historically once Muslims reach a certain % of the population they become a full fledged Jihadist insurgency until they have overthrown the government or cleaved off a part of the country.

For example, Pakistan was once India until Islamic insurgency, after which the peaceful Hindu people gave up a massive chunk of India. Despite this, Muslims murdered millions of Hindus in the second worst genocide of the 20th century. Hindus however contend that the second Islamic genocide on the hindus in the 20th century was even worse than the jewish holocaust.

After giving Muslims a massive chunk of India and letting them butcher millions of Hindus, this still didnt solve the problem, because, as we know, Muslims now want Kashmir. Its all about "critical mass". Where Muslims feel they have enough numbers in a non-islamic land, they immediately push for an Islamic state.

Today, we see only 10% Muslims triggered over a month of riots in France.

Whats the % for the USA?

I mean how badly would it rock our religious world if we could just allow the possibility to enter our psyche. To just ponder of "what if" Jesus did have a relationship? How badly would this thought really shake pillars of faith to their foundations?

In christian heaven, there is constant piped-in music of either Pat Boone or organ music. The place has a musty, floral smell like church. It is very dull there. In agnostic heaven, everyone drives a Mercedes, and has a Swedish mistress. Lobster tails are on the breakfast menu at McDonald's.

First, I don't agree with the following scripture. So if you agree, please explain why.

Second, Boys: you get a thumbs-down from me just for answering. I've asked about this passage twice today. Almost -all- answers were from men. Check my profile, find the question, and answer there. This question is for the ladies (which you ain't ;-).

I Timothy 2:9-15

"In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
"But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
"Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
"But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over men, but to be in silence.
"For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
"And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
"Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety."
