the book of Revelations has nothing to do with what you are seeing right now.
There are 2 comings of Christ.
The Rapture. and The Revelation. Christ (Reveals) Himself. Rapture happens first. Then Revelation happens.
Rapture and Revelation is 2 different things.
Good Question.

The things written in the book of Revelation were to happen shortly after the book was written. (Not 1900+ years later.)
Notice these verses from the first chapter and the last chapter of the book:
Revelation 1:1, "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—THINGS WHICH MUST SHORTLY TAKE PLACE." (Quoted from NKJV. Caps added for emphasis.)
Revelation 1:3, "Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for THE TIME IS NEAR."
Revelation 22:6, "Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord God of the holy[b] prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place."
Revelation 22:10, "..the time is at hand."

The whole point of Revelation is to state something so vague and so disguised that any leader can put a meaning to it and brainwash people by saying "it's in the Bible." It's really his own agenda.
By the way, how smart does someone have to be to figure this out?

The Book of revelations actually applies to us...its about phrophecies that are being fuffilled and are yet to be fulfilled in our day...for example...Arent these things happening today?
Read...
(matthew24:3-8)3 While he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: “Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?”
4 And in answer Jesus said to them: “Look out that nobody misleads YOU; 5 for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. 6 YOU are going to hear of wars and reports of wars; see that YOU are not terrified. For these things must take place, but the end is not yet.
7 “For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another. 8 All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress

Actually those revelations have already happened...St Peter (or whoever the hell wrote them) was a political prisoner at the time. So he had to write in code: 666 (the number of the beast) was actually Nero's Roman number. All of these so-called signs are not signs for the end of the world...you have to read them as if you were 2,000 years in the past.

there are a whole bunch of sighns that are being fulfilled. you just have to understand the symbolism that is being used and try to look at the world now from the perspective two thousand years ago. you will probably see that the book of revelation is being fulfilled year after year.

It is a failed prophecy against the Roman Empire.
It doesn't matter anymore.

the better question is: what are you talking about. between the poor grammar and the inherent dislike of divine faith, you come across pretty incomprehensible.
to make it easy for you: we cannot understand your question or your comment.
