The restaraunt chainTGIF stands for Thank God It's Friday, Friday is the Pastafarian sabbath but they thank god instead of Flying Spaghetti Monster, I'm deeply troubled, please respond.

I know, right? And I LOVE their ribs!! But I'm willing to sacrifice for the good of my religion. I agree to boycott until they change their name to TFSMIF.

Don't worry. "God" is a reference to a non-specific Creator to be interpreted by each according to his beliefs. In your case "God" refers to the FSM, and for others it refers to Yahweh, and for others, whatever else they might believe in. That's how we can have "In God We Trust" on our money without it being a direct endorsement of any specific religion. I suppose atheists like me have to pick a default "God" to fit the bill -- perhaps the naturalistic universe is its own God? (Yes, that was sarcastic, but how else can you explain it?)

i love you pastafarians it's a nice change from the bible questons on here, i thank you for your wonderful religion whoever started it was a master mind!
