there are guardian angels that surround us at all times......they do stay in the background sometimes, but are always present.

yup, there are earth angels also, but I think you may be speaking of those that appear in human form, with angelic qualities? For example, the angel that carries a child from a burning car wreck that only a few people can see, and then he is no where to be found when the parent tries to thank him. This type of thing happens all of the time. This could be one of three types of angels. It could be the childs guardian angel, however I doubt this, because, as a rule, the only one that sees your guardian angel is... yourself.. the angel could also be an earth angel, which is an angel that walks the earth at times, or "steps in" when there is a need or crisis. The angel could also be one of the archangels... there are certain ones that help in certain circumstances... believe it or not, between the archangels and a relative that has passed over within a few years, we are alot more protected in our vehicles that we might think.

Yes, angels definitely exist; they aren't simply good people, and they are greater than we are. The Bible says, "What is man that you are mindful of him? ... You made him a little lower than the angels" (Hebrews 2:6-7).
Angels are a separate category of spiritual beings, created by God as His special messengers or helpers. They have many responsibilities, but one of their major tasks is to watch over God's people: "Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?" (Hebrews 1:14). Although they seldom take visible form, they are constantly involved in the ongoing conflict between good and evil. In the last days, Jesus said, "The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous" (Matthew 13:49).
While the Bible doesn't give us details about their origin, it seems that angels existed before the world was created, and through all eternity they will continue to serve and praise God. We are not to worship them, however, for only God is worthy of our worship (see Revelation 22:8-9).
Thank God for His angels, and for their watchful care over us; they are a sign of God's continuing love. But the greatest sign of God's love is Christ, for He alone went to the cross for our salvation. Is your hope in Him?

Yup. They are everywhere. if they weren't, there would be many more accidents in cars, or even walking down the street. If they need to, they can show themselves.
And, of course they know they are angels! People that die, don't become angels, God created angels, and they know who and what they are.

Huh...I used to live in East Oakland for over a year. Home of the Hell's Angels...I would like to see you walk up to one of those Angels...in your bell bottom jeans and ask if they are Angels....You would probably still be walking around bent over so far backwards, that you would be able to fart in your own face.

My Guardian Angel has been with me since I was 8 years old. She is my mother and died when I was 8. I feel her presence. I have not seen her but I have always felt her presence and have tried to please her. When I do something wrong I get physically sick and have to throw up. She has kept me out of a lot of trouble.
