I believe that it is possible she was his wife, Jesus preached in the temple at a time when it was unheard of for a single man to to preach, rabbis were always married. As he was Jewish and followed his faith why wouldnt he be married? But as there is no proof i dont really know. As for the church it would create chaos as they would then has to face up to the possiblity of all the other lies they have preached would come to light. Remember even some of the apostles were jealous of Mary as she was so close to Jesus.

No, I do not hold this belief. Mary M. was a disciple of Jesus, quite possibly rescued from a life of prostitution, and one of the witnesses to His ressurection.
Why do I have a problem with the suggestion of a romance/marital relationship between Jesus and any woman (Mary M or otherwise)? Because such a relationship would have been inappropriate, just like a father dating or marrying his own daughter. Jesus is the spiritual progenitor of everybody on the planet, and especially of the household of believers.
The idea of a "god's wife" is actually an ancient one. The Egyptians had them in their pantheon and their religious practices. So did the Greeks, Romans, Palestinians (ancient, not modern), and other pagan races. The descendants of this form of theology became the "Gnostics". We still have such teachings around today. The origin is still the same: pagan, and not Christian.

He never did have that kind of relationship with her. As a matter of fact, I read somewhere that the antichrist will be the so called "blood" relative of Jesus and Mary Magdeline. That is why everyone will think the antichrist is some "holy" peace loving dude. Based on the lie that Jesus had sex with Mary. Personally, I am not going to be duped by Satan into believing this.

If (as it appears) you are looking for a response to assertions about Jesus, Mary Magdeline, and the Bible in "The Da Vinci Code," try reading "The Da Vinci Hoax" by Carl Olson, or just check out this website:

The Book of Thomas says Mary Magdeline was a deciple of Jesus. To imply such a union would put Mohammad as a equal to Jesus. Its also well known amongst parts of the religous community that once one has had sex that one loses a clear vision of God. If anything is clearer, Jesus had a very clear vision of our God, the Father. Unlike Mohammed who had sex with anything that spoke his language.

No. I believe that both Mary and Jesus were religious myths originating in Egypt several thousand years ago and gradually spreading/evolving through different lands with minor details being changed or adapted to suit the preexisting belief systems of each culture. Compare Jesus with Horus, Krishna, Mithra, and many other savior gods worshipped over the millennia.

No matter how many books you read, it will be impossible to know. Nobody in this world knows and it will never be known.
The best you can do is to have an opinion/
You can spend hours talking about it, but still, it has to be an opinion and will never be a proven fact.
Everything written in the Bible and other books is word of mouth.

Not all that badly. Marriage is not a sin, and so He would still be a perfect being, so why would they try so hard to hide it? It doesn't make sense. I don't believe this is true, I think ppl just want to try and create some drama.

The Bible is inerrant and infallable. "What if" is to suggest that the witnesses missed something, or that God hid something and critiques would undoubtedly make the leap to blaspheme the Lord by comparing him to men. The Bible says a little leaven, leavens the whole lump. Your "what if" is like the serpent saying, "what could a little bite hurt?" to Eve..
God Bless you and keep you...

it would rock the world quite soundly, but i do not believe that He was married to mary magdeline. there is not any proof that he was, nor is there any proof that she was anything other than a groupie. a female disciple, perhaps, but not a spouse.
