They are fallen angels. There are three heavens – II Corinthians 12:3. God rules from the third heaven. Lucifer was created to serve Him, but he sinned and it was the sin of pride and God cast him out of the third heaven, Isaiah 14:12 to 14, and Ezekiel 28, verses 14 to 16 tell the story. And we find that he then controlled heavens 1 and 2. That's why he's called the prince of the power of the air, Ephesians 2:2. That's why Ephesians 6:12 says that we as humans wrestle against evil spirits in high places. Heavens 1 and 2 are full of these demonic spirits. For when Satan fell, he took one third of the angels of heaven with him in Revelation 12, verse 4. So they are out there and we have to be on guard every minute as we wait on the Holy Spirit to fill us and give us power to defeat these Satanic forces who often try to attack us.
The war is in Heaven. not earth. There is a battle on earth.
No, not at all. Many centuries ago, this could even go before creation, The demons, one third of the angels that fell, Revelation 12:7, are filling the heavens.
Do you know that when Daniel prayed in chapter 10 of the book of Daniel, the prayers didn't get through for 21 days because the evil spirits stopped it? Well, there is War in Heaven in Revelation 12, verse 7. But these are the angelic beings. The good ones against the fallen ones, the demonic spirits controlling the heaven.
And you know why the war is occurring? They're clearing the way in Revelation 12, verses 7:2-12, because Jesus Christ is about to appear and there can be no hindrances. The heavens will be cleared and purified and Christ will come straight through as he sets his foot upon the Mount of Olives in almost the twinkling of an eye. So we won't have to fight. There’s no need for it.
good Question.

It depends on what you believe.
Some Christians believe that heaven once was full of angels, but Lucifer, a beautiful angel, rebelled. According to the story, Lucifer (the light bearer) took a third of the angels. These fallen angels are known to most Christians as "demons."
According to the Bible, these demons can influence people, but ultimately you have free will and make your own decisions. Remember, Adam and Eve chose to eat the forbidden fruit. It was their decision, as your decision is your own, as well.

If you're referring to biblical fallen angels, also known as demons, yes it can happen. However, they do not possess people "at will," the people generally invite them in, thinking they are some sort of good spirit (sometimes, though, people knowingly invite the demons in). Demon possession is a touchy subject, even among Christians today. I, however, have met demon possessed people (I can't explain how I knew they were possessed, but I knew...it's incredibly freaky) so I know firsthand that it can occur. However, demons, as far as I know, only go where they are invited. So unless you invite a demon into you, they're not just going to jump you and take over.

My theory is, and me being a good christian, is that in this world you always have two paths to choose from, one a good voice and one a bad, like the saying goes what would Jesus do, surely not everyone does what Jesus would want you to do but some do what satan probably would want u to do. In any case, these so called fallen angels are bad becuase they follow satan, and they are on earth just like the good angels form heaven who follow God. Good angels whether u believe or dont, they are there to guide you to do good, ( a good concience), but then you have the satan angels aka fallen angels who dont want you to do good but to do what Jesus wouldent do or what God wouldent want u to do. In cartoons you probably saw once how in a person they have two angels, one with the halo trying to tell you to do good and the bad angel with the horns trying to tell you to do bad. This is true in real life, and if your not careful , sum of the actions you do on earth, arent the ones the good angels advised you to do but are the ones the fallen angels made you do.

Revelation 12
7And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
John 13:27
27As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him
Matthew 15:22
22A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from demon-possession."

Sounds like Lucifer, when he was a good angel that went bad, and took one third of the Angels with him, basically they fell, falling Angels, they fell to Hell, Hell is believed to be in the center of the earth, where it's very hot, and lava flows.

I think it's a new Fox series.
In reality - no angels, just books written by man.
