We have people have all colors/ethnicity on this planet. So, how did we get from one person all these ethnicities? Was it some sort of cellular evolution that created an excess of melanin in some people over others?

A homeless friend is living with me how long should I let them stay?
Please note I am asking this question on behalf of someone that has no computer, just for the record. I gave my opinion, and they thought I was being mean.

Question:
I let a friend of mine move in 2 months ago who got kicked out of their apartment, got a dwi and totaled their car. They are drawing disability, and are on food stamps. They pay me one half of the utilities, and buy all the food. They pay no rent. They say they are saving to move, but just sit around my house all day watching my tv, drinking beer, and smoking. They used to be a drug addict and sold drugs but say they don't do that anymore. Their family and other friends turned them away so I hated to see them on the street. This buddy of mine printed out some local ads for them at around $400 a month utilites included, but the person living with me says they can't afford it.

Any professional advice on this I can give this person? What do you think I should do? I don't want to be mean.

He punishes Adam and Eve for eating from the Tree of Knowledge.

He destroys the Tower of Babel when humans work together to build a great project. Then makes them unable to understand each other so that they can no longer share their knowledge.

Lucifer - the Light Bearer - becomes the symbol of evil.

This seems to be the trend throughout the Judeo-Christian tradition.

With a philosophy like that wouldn't it make it so much easier for the ruling elite of the religion to control people?

Now before you say I am racist you must know that I am not. It is just that I sat down the other day and have noticed that Black people are the only race in the world that come in different shades from dark skin to light to every shades in between. I hate to say it but other races from Caucasian (which I am by the way), Asian, Arab, and Hispanic are just plain.

I am grateful that I can go through my daily activities without the fear of being hit by a rocket as you walk down the streets. And I am thankful that I can sleep soundly at night without the terrifying sounds of bombs echoing in the backgound. Isn't it time that we should be thankful that we do not live in those war-torn regions??

No offense guys but i've heard that malcom x said in his 1962 speech 'bout the black man's history that it's written in the bible(actually in one of the songs)its mentioned that there is a certain chapter where the bible says...:"Wash me white as snow" with my total respect to the christians....What do the bible means by that.Malcom x concluded that it means the christianity relegion is 4 whites only as it says wash me white......can i have your own conclusion.Peace and thankx...!

Ok, hypothetically, if we go to a country that has God's Laws, God's morality, and I own slaves and I beat my slave but he lives and you wanted to punish me and I said: Exodus 21:20-21 (NKJV) “And if a man beats his male or female servant with a rod, so that he dies under his hand, he shall surely be punished. 21 Notwithstanding, if he remains alive a day or two, he shall not be punished; for he is his property.

And I beat my slave but my slave lifes and I stop those who want to punish me by saying God's law in Exodus 21:20-21 permits me to do this,

Is this moral? Is this legitimate?

Someone in one of my questions yesterday asked do I see a lot of Christians owning slaves? Not with my eyes but I see on the news about a lot of sex slave trade going on around Earth right now, do you think the master beats the sex slave to within an inch of her life and then hides behind Exodus 21:20-21?

You know, spend your whole life as a nasty puppy-eating heathen and then, just before you die, recant, repent and accept Jesus as your saviour. Would God buy that? If you were sincere?

Then, as a bonus question - just an hour later after you've died. If you're standing at the Pearly Gates saying, 'hey it looks like this God stuff was right all long', would it be too late _then_?

And why would that one hour make any difference?
